I have been an avid traveler since my early twenties and also lived in London, Southern France and Greece. I am a single mom of an amazing 23 year old girl who has patiently tagged along to most places with me. I have driven through all of Eastern and Western Europe in an old Land Rover, down the Alcan Highway in a 60 year-old jalopy and through 48 states in the past 20 years. I'm a blue highways kind of girl and love the adventure of a road less traveled. I have traveled to South and Central America, Asia and the the Hawaiian Islands. In the next year, I would like to visit Myanmar, Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam. I have a degree in Anthropology and although I do not use it professionally, I realize that I chose that path because I love meeting new people and making connections.
I spend my time traveling, sewing clothes, gardening, cooking, hosting dinner parties, seeing music and working on my beloved house.
We have a friendly cat named Minerva who spends her time napping inside and frolicking outside.
