Cute quiet cozy bedroom of well preserved 2nd owner Doty Island home. Neighborhood is very quiet, friendly & safe. Room comes with a queen size bed & shelving. 20 min. to EAA, 40 to Lambeau Field, 10 to Mile of Music, 3 to Theda Clark.
Home was built in 1933 and was purchased from the original owner. I've tried my best to preserve the house the best I can. Hardwood floors throughout and mid-century furniture and antiques. Tons of records to listen to. Please make yourself at home.
Outside of the guest bedroom & garage, the place is yours.

I work 8-5 M-F typically but am only ten minutes away if anything is needed. I am more than happy to be an active host, sharing meals, playing records, watching TV, conversation, etc. But I can also give you as much space as needed. I'm a bachelor and often go out with friends and dames. ;)

I have a small Italian Greyhound named Milton who lives with me. Milton may possibly the most friendly dog you will ever meet. He loves to play and he will no doubt ask you to play with him. He sheds but his hair is like little eyelashes and is supposedly hypo-allergenic. I have slight pet allergies myself and Milton gives me no problems. Milton is quiet and rarely barks. If requested I have no problem with having him removed from the home during your stay as he loves to visit his grandmother.
LGBT friendly. The neighbors are all pretty progressive people and will be friendly as well.
Parking on the street is not allowed during the winter months.
Please treat the home with respect. It is full of antique furniture and equipment. No smoking allowed indoors but feel free to on the back patio. Feel free to play any records you may find on any of the stereos throughout the house. Keep the windows shut if you're rocking out though. Leave the records out as I am very OCD and know exactly where to put them back. Try to keep the party noise to a minimum after 10:00 PM if you're outside. Plenty of Blu-Rays and DVD's. Feel free to watch anything you like.
I'm just a midwestern thirty-something that would rather be on the road more than anywhere else. I travel light and usually alone and it's a rare occasion that I get to stay in the same place for more than a night.
I've pretty much been everywhere in the USA several times over except for Alaska & Maine. International travel is something I'd love to do if I could ever find the time and money. I've only been to Japan, Canada (which doesn't really count), some Virgin Islands & Puerto Rico. My favorite city to visit is Memphis.
I also host my own home and try my best to exceed my guests expectations. It's been a great experience and I've met so many wonderful humans in the process.
I listen to old music. I watch old movies. I drive old cars. And I live in an old house.
