A private guestroom in an arty, laid back home. The room has an en suite bathroom with bath and shower, and the house has a cozy, old-world charm. Located in the culturally diverse Norwood suburb, with antique shops, restaurants and leafy streets. Safe with 24h security. Walking distance to supermarkets and restaurants in vibey Grant street. Also accessible to highways and Gautrain station. I recently installed fast, uncapped LTE wifi.
Colourful, vibrant and artistic - an eclectic house with inviting courtyard, swimming pool area and interesting decor. The house was built in the 1940s and have undergone several transformations. The surrounding neighbourhood has been home to three prominent figures in South African history: Nelson Mandela, Bram Fischer (Madiba's lawyer during the Rivonia trials) and Mahatma Ghandi. The house is walking distance (500m) from the Spar and Woolies supermarkets, and various restaurants.
Guests have access to the living room, kitchen, swimming pool and courtyard area.

I work flexible hours, so I can accommodate guests during the day and give very good travel tips :)
No smoking in the house.
Please respect my belongings in the same way you would hope someone else to respect yours during a visit.
I am in the process of living greener, and implementing a recycling station. Please use water and electricity mindfully. Any tips will be helpful!

I am a country girl by origin who made the bold move to the Big City ten years ago.
I have joined AirBnB to share my passion for Africa with visitors across the globe (and locally), and look forward to give like-minded guests a glimpse of one of South Africa's most amazing cities (actually... THE most amazing city, sorry Cape Town).
I love psychology, art, architecture, travel, running, fashion, yoga, red wine and philosophical discussions (especially when there's red wine involved).
I look forward to hosting you and share some stories!
