There's a swimming pool for the villa's sole use, and private hard tennis court. Also close by are six or seven exceptional golf courses, local hiking trails, and for a winter break it is just 45 minutes from the ski slopes.
It has a stunning position and boasts panoramic views from Nice to La Napoule. The property has enchanting gardens featuring woodland, open lawns and many beautiful Mediterranean plants.
The villa is styled to be fresh and modern while in keeping with Provence. There are a double and twin bedroom, a shower room and separate wc upstairs and a double bedroom opening on to the garden and shower room on the ground floor. The kitchen and living room are open plan with French doors opening on to the garden.
All bookings are accepted on the condition that the property is left in the same state of repair, order and cleanliness both inside and outside as at the start of the holiday, and that the person who made the booking will pay for breakages and / or damage and extra cleaning, if so required. The rental includes the cost of a full routine clean at the end of the letting, should an additional in-depth clean be necessary due to misuse of the property, the client will be liable. Major breakages should be reported immediately and minor damage will be noted at the termination of the stay.
The swimming pool is serviced weekly. It is the client's responsibility to supervise children at all times in the vicinity of the pool. In line with French legal requirements, it is alarmed to give a warning of anyone falling in. On arrival, the client will be shown how the alarm works, then it is their responsibility to ensure the alarm is in use when the pool is not in use. The client will be asked to sign an agreement to follow this requirement.
We are a no smoking property.
La Mouissone is on the edge of forest. It is therefore regarded as a high risk for fire particularly in the summer months and there are stringent penalties for infringements. Therefore, although barbecues are allowed, they must only be made on the patio next to the holiday cottage. The barbecue must be supervised at all times, and dowsed with water when it is left.

I'm a gardener! and it takes up 75% of my time.
I studied Practical Horticulture, Plants and Plantsmanship and advanced Plants and Plantsmanship at the English Garden School (Chelsea Physic Garden), and gained a Diploma with Distinction in each. More recently, I've continued to study, including intensive plant tours to South Africa's Cape and the Far East, in order to to generate a greater understanding of Mediterranean gardening. I have an extensive plant knowledge and am available to offer advice on gardens and other botanical sites in the Riviera region.
We discovered this property of about three hectares, which had half to two thirds cultivated and the rest wild, considering the massive gardening interest I found we had made such a lucky choice in our French home!
For our guest villa clients, we believe quality is very important, and we therefore take great care in preparing the villa for each client - lovely white fresh towels, for example. We have loads of information in the villa and personally for clients to enjoy outings and local restaurants, and for any particular requirements we are only a text message away.
