:::::::RENTER BEWARE:::::: My experience with Rigo and his brother was traumatizing, at best. It started with the driver who was set up and quoted a price by Rigo trying to overcharge us once he picked us up to take us to the property. After showing him the quote, in writing, he agreed and transported us. Once we arrived to Villas Marlin, we were greeted by Fernando who showed us to our room. Fernando let us know immediately that one of the AC Unite weren't functioning and that a gentleman would arrive to service it the following morning which was a flat out lie. The evening of our arrival is when we started to notice other issues such as: •the toilet on the lower floor not functioning •a quarter sized bloodstain on the bedding •various stains on additional bedding •an ant infestation in the kitchen •corrosion on the lighting fixtures •mold on the ceiling and balcony •the Air Conditioning in the first floor bedroom not functioning •the bottom bedroom lock being jammed and locking my sibling out of his room We contacted Fernando who notified us that he was off the premises and would be gone until the following day. Next morning, the AC man came to "service" the AC but he spoke little English, we spoke little Spanish and our "host" was missing in action so we just assumed it was fixed. A little later in the day we returned from the pool to a still broken AC and proceeded to get ready for a tour that we booked. Upon exiting, we found out that our door to the condo would not lock, at all. The lock was functional but the latch would not properly connect to the hinge. Called Fernando who was still missing and he only responded to a text about the door and ignored me about the AC. Basically our stuff was unsecured for an undisclosed amount of time. Monday morning, we woke up to a warm room and fridge because it had gone out the night before and finally contacted Rigo to voice our concerns, who let us know that the AC had never been fixed because some part was unavailable over the weekend (there is a Home Depot within a four mile radius from the property), so that was another lie. They never communicated this issue with us. I requested a refund or another apartment on the property (they have 10) and was denied both. Rigo is going to respond saying that he did everything in his power to accommodate us, which is another lie because we weren't even offered a fan. It has been escalated through AirBnB and received a full refund but no amount of compensation will reimburse me for my time. Never again! This property shouldn't be listed.

Everyone has the right of their own opinion. In 5 years of Hosting and Managing we have not had such an experience. After the guest submitted a fully refund request through Airbnb and this wasn't approved, the entitled guest not only did it start to distort and overemphasize the property in a negative way but went on to bad mouth myself and family members. We as hosts have a great positive record and this can be seen in the reviews on Airbnb. However, there are exceptions of people who think they need to be compensated for every little thing disregarding the human aspect of how sometimes things happen. Having said that, want to acknowledge part of the exaggerated review above. 1.- The airport transportation service isn't part of our labor as Hosts, we do help guests if they require a transfer by contacting external companies to accommodate the guest and for this reason we send confirmation in writing. 2.- It is true that one out of three A/C units malfunctioned over the weekend and unfortunately it wasn't Humanly possible to repair it over the Weekend. It wasn't until Monday when the part was available to be replaced. Not even in a 5 star Hotel can you replace an A/C part if this one isn't available on the property nor on stores. As closure an Airbnb email due to damages made on the property by the guest. "Hi Rigo, "Thanks for your patience and understanding while we've been working to resolve this matter. We went on a quick last minute trip to visit family. The condo was perfect, clean and is located on an excellent area of the strip. This area of the beach is one of the best off the strip. The pool was heaven and it was nice because it wasn't too crowded. I would definitely recommend this place and would stay here again.
