Welcome to our sustainable family farm set on 112 acres in the rolling hills of the Susquehanna River Valley. Sheep, border collies, pigs, chickens, horses and bees will make your visit an adventure! You will be our only guests. Heading to Knoebels? Easy 20-minute drive. Your home-away-from home is an historic, renovated carriage barn with bedroom upstairs and kitchen/bath downstairs. Exposed beams and peg construction connect the past with the present. No dogs, but boarding nearby.
There is one large sleeping room with two bunk beds...twin above, double below. There are also two sofas. Thus, we can accommodate up to 6 people if the beds are shared or a guest takes the sofa. There are a zillion possibilities depending on whether you have kids and what ages they are.

We like to give our guests their privacy, but they can always reach us by cell phone.

Our dogs are at liberty some of the time, so this is not a good choice for someone terrified of dogs. Note that horseback riding is not something we offer to the public, but New Creations Farm in Sunbury does. They are about 5 miles from us.
There is no smoking anywhere on the property. Also, we are up early in the morning and turn in early in the evening, so this is not the place for loud activities late at night. And supervise your children at all times.
My husband and I run a sustainable farm raising sheep, pastured pigs, chickens, and poultry. I have been a horseback rider all my life, and now between my daughter and I we have 7 horses. Our primary interests are long-distance trail riding (me), training and resale (my daughter). One of the things I enjoy most about our farm is working with the border collies who we use to move the sheep. But despite the demands of the farm, we still love to travel. Even before kids, we preferred small, personal lodgings over packaged hotels.
