Другие важные подробности
A road runs almost completely around the perimeter of Ortigia where most waterfront properties sit, so one must expect some street noise and be cautious with young children.
As a guest, my house is your house. Please be respectful of the property and furnishings. Smoke outside and dispose of butts properly. For security of property and your personal belongings, check that all doors are latched before heading out to explore or going down to the beach.
When I first traveled to Ortigia I knew that it was a special place. I was enchanted with the architecture, its 2700 years of history, narrow stone streets and sparkling sea views. My dream to one day own property came to fruition some 25 years later. The renovation process was a challenge compared to projects I had done in NY. I took great care to preserve the structural integrity of my sea front properties and designed the interiors to be beautiful and comfortable for my guests. Ortigia brings one back in time. I adore the outdoor market with its fresh fish and all the fruits that Sicily has to offer, including its olive oils and wines from the different regions, local hand made cheeses and breads and sweets. Life is for living and exploring the wonders of our magnificent planet, and Ortigia is one of those glorious places.
