Double room on beautiful tree-lined street facing park and pool in amazing St. Henri!
We have 1 large room with 1 double bed available in our spacious, ground floor apartment. It is a beautiful, tree-lined street, directly across from a park and (free!) pool.
We are 2 women living here and there is plenty of room for you to enjoy and relax in our home - a front balcony with comfy chairs, washer and dryer, plenty of space in the kitchen and living room for cooking, relaxing, etc.
Amazing location in St. Henri, one of Montreal's best neighbourhoods! In addition to the park and free pool right across the street, we are a 3-minute stroll to the Lachine Canal, with walking and bike paths. There is also a Bixi bike stand practically at our front door. At the other end of our street is Notre Dame street, with restaurants, bars, shops, etc. Buses and metro station are very close (within a 10-min. walk) and will get you downtown in 15 mins. Easy access to highways as well. Uber and taxis readily available!
You are welcome to use our shared spaces - be it cooking, reading, watching a movie, or relaxing outside on our porch. We also have a washer and dryer if you need to do some laundry.
A note regarding our bathroom: this is an old home in a historical neighbourhood. One remnant of this is our bathroom set-up: it's split into two rooms. The toilet is separate from the sink and shower/tub. A little strange but is actually quite practical! :)

I am a high school teacher sharing my home with another woman friend. Our home is very relaxed, humble and cozy. I'm a native Montrealer and have lived all over the city and this is my favourite apartment and neighbourhood. I would have to be dragged kicking and screaming from it. (Luckily my landlord is a friend so this scenario is unlikely!). St. Henri is a very cool neighbourhood. There is lots to see, do, drink and eat in the area, but it's also got a lot of green space and quiet spots in parks or by the water.
You're welcome to use our kitchen, living room, wifi, borrow a book, have a bath, do your laundry, eat with us, ignore us, etc., while here!
