“A charming enclave on the western edge of Putney” – London Evening Standard.
This is the ideal location for families, couples and friends who want access to and benefits of Central London whilst staying in a peaceful, beautiful and green location.
Sleeps 6 with 2 bedrooms and comfy sofa bed in the sitting room. The sitting room is a good size and is very cosy with original working open fire. There is a large open plan kitchen with modern electric hob and built in oven with french doors into the garden. The bathroom is large with a walk in shower and separate bath. The two large bedrooms have lovely views, one out onto the back garden and beyond and the other onto the green at the front of the house.
It is as close to being in the countryside as you are going to get in the city. Within minutes you can be on a London bus as easily as you can be horse riding on one of the nearby Commons.
This charming cottage is situated on a quiet residential street in West Putney. The house is a 10-minute walk to Barnes station and 15 minutes walk to Putney train station and tube stations, which will get you into Central London (Earls Court, Westminster, Victoria, Waterloo) in 15-20 minutes.
There are also good bus connections very near the house which get you to Putney, Piccadilly, Tottenham Court Road, Green Park and South Kensington.
The house has two large double bedrooms, a cosy sitting room with open fireplace, a generous eat-in kitchen and a large modern bathroom. There is also a pretty garden with a patio and lawned area.
The house is located in one of the greenest parts of London with a public footpath 30 seconds from your front door which leads to Wimbledon Common. Richmond Park is also nearby. There is plenty to do in the surrounding areas of Putney, Barnes and Wimbledon. With shops, parks, restaurants, cinemas, pubs, clubs, leisure centres, National Trust attractions, sports clubs and football grounds.
The house is a 5-minute drive from the A3, connecting you to the rest of the South East of England, including good access to Surrey, Sussex and Kent.
We welcome pets (dogs and cats) but please inform us so we can pass onto housekeeping.

We are a family of four with two young boys, 2 dogs, 2 goats and a pony! We moved out of London to Kent two years ago and decided to let our London home as a holiday let as it is in such a unique and beautiful location.
When we were living in the house we loved to go out in Putney (great for restaurants, pubs and clubs, shopping and cinema) and go for walks in the surrounding parks.
Having lived in Kent for two years now we decided to do B&B from our home as it is also in a stunning location and is close to many interesting and fun places.
We love to go for walks with our children, relax in front of our open fire, work in our garden and visit the many different places of interest we have nearby.
