We are Linda and Ray and we welcome you to come and stay with us. The house is in a small hamlet in the Kent countryside. It is cosy and you can go on lovely walks etc from the house. We think you will love it!
Please see "Other things to note" below for directions.
We do have another room available in our B&B and also a 'Seaside Cottage' in Hastings. Please look at our listing for 'Room 2' which you can find on our profile
The house is stylish and it has been featured in a couple of national & local home magazines but it is very much a home.We have a large inglenook with wood burner in a lounge separate for guests,a lovely place to relax at the end of the day. I will light the fire in August in fact anytime if the outside temperature dips!! Television is also in here if you wish. We adjoin the church so the garden is very peaceful and secluded and on warm days & evenings we are very happy for you to be out there to enjoy the space.
The two bedrooms for guests are very clean and comfortable and both overlook the garden and the church. Each room has a double bed, tea & coffee facilities, hair dryer, radio and access to Wi-fi. Room 1 is en suite and Room 2 has a private bathroom just across the landing - THIS listing is for Room 1.
We offer full English breakfast or continental with a choice of homemade muesli, yoghurt and fruit. Please let us know if you have any special dietary requirements.
With the exception of our family bedrooms guests really have access to the rest of the house. We have a large separate lounge specifically for the use of guests.
Breakfast is served in the dining room but this is also a snug space with sofa and wood burner and lots of books. We have a roomy farmhouse style kitchen and if guests want to come in for a chat or a coffee they are more than welcome.
The garden is very pretty and we neighbour the church so it is very peaceful and secluded and if the weather is fine it's a great place to be at any time of day and we are very happy for guests to enjoy the garden.
