4 adults and 2 babies (or 1 baby and 1 small child) can easily make our home their holiday nest. The apartment has two floors in a different and charming ground plan. The interior is artsy, cozy and family-friendly. The building has a large garden perfect for Danish summer nights.
Our lovely apartment (93 sqm) is a great and different, old 4-roomer placed on 1st floor (but above the ground, so it's hard to look inside from the street). There are 2 bedrooms - 1 on 1st floor and 1 in the cozy basement room, which also has underfloor heating (at wintertime). The sofa bed in the basement has mattresses and shoves/folds so that it can be used as a sofa, double or single bed. Futhermore, the apartment has a wonderful children's room with a great inflow of light. The room used to be a small shop back in the old days. It has two cribs (100x70 cm) in it. The basement room is the old storage room remodeled and connected with the living room by a flight of stairs. Two steps further up from the children's room there is a hallway connected to the bathroom with shower and washbasin. The hallway leads to the living room that has a dinner table including two high chairs for children and also a sofa/coffee table and tv.
The restroom is separated from the bathroom and is small and 'Copenhagen-ish,' but quite nice. The kitchen is well-equipped with dishwasher etc. and the backdoor will take you half a flight of stairs down to a green garden with lots of corners for day- and nighttime relaxing, barbecues and sun. The neighborhood is mostly young couples and families, and there's a nice and quiet atmosphere in the area. But all the great and fun stuff is just around the corner...
The apartment is situated in the heart of Frederiksberg with an indoor swimming pool/fitness/spa, coffeeshops and cafes, countless restaurants, delis, ice cream joints, shopping mall and small boutiques, eco bakery (just outside the front door), Frederiksberg Have and other green spots (LIFE's garden, Assistentens Kirkegård, Grøndal Park, Zoo etc.) - everything and much more is within walking distance. From Frederiksberg it is easy to get to all parts of the city - Nørrebro, Vesterbro and City lay surrounding the small 'vatican' of Frederiksberg ;) Busses go close by and the metro is not far away either.
Arriving from the airport is easy. Just take the metro from the airport to the stop 'Frederiksberg' and walk about 7 mins. Or you can get off at Forum and take the bus '2A' to Aksel Møllers Have and walk 2 mins.
You can park for free for 2 hours everywhere on Frederiksberg.
I will make your beds, and you will have towels to use as well.
We simply love our place and the hood - and so we wish to welcome you into our home and town.
Simply treat our home with respect - as you would as guest any other home :)
And then make yourself at home.
No loud parties after 22 (we have many neighbors with children)
Absolutely no smoking inside (but the garden works fine)
Have a good time!
