Fettouma, a French-speaking caretaker who lives down the lane, is normally available for consultation.
Our family is sometimes in the village, as well (we have 3 other houses there, 2 available to rent by the week).
Другие важные подробности
The village is just off a minor highway and so is both quiet and pretty safe for children.
Sometimes, larger groups or two families traveling together rent more than one of our houses simultaneously.
There are no commercial facilities in Veaux; there are in Molans, 3 mi./4.6 km. away.
Historic (Roman, medieval) Vaison-la-Romaine, with its cultural events and Tuesday market, is 11 mi./17 km. distant.
No pets, indoor smoking, or rowdy behavior, please. We supply detailed "operating instructions" for the houses.
This is a "housekeeping" accommodation, and clients do their own maintenance (private arrangements can be made with our caretaker). Since there may be little time between sets of clients, guests are expected to LEAVE THE HOUSE CLEAN (except for linens) prior to departure.

I am a retired professor of Geography and of Textiles and Clothing from the University of California, Davis, now living in my wife's hometown in the mountains of Virginia. My late mother, my daughter, and my wife have long been involved in our properties in the hamlet of Veaux, Provence. More recently, my son-in-law Allan and my young grandkids Jacob and Morgan have joined the team. I bought the house described here in 1969, the other three over the years since. Restoring and furnishing them has been huge job with many setbacks but also a joyous bonding experience.
