The host Eli was very good with communications; responsive to texts and Airbnb messages. However, I've only actually met him twice; he comes to sleep in the apartment from time to time. The apartment is located at a very central location, which is fantastically convenient.
However, the place was filthy when I moved in. The carpets are stained, the kitchen mat had a hole in it, and there were definitely some creepy crawlies in the kitchen area. It was pretty clear that the place hadn't been cleaned for at the very least a couple of months.
If you're looking for a place to sleep, shower and get out, this will be fine. Not a place that I would come back to get actual rest and relaxation or spend time in; Living room has two bunk beds (four guests), and the tiny inside room has another bunk bed (for two guests). Realized too late that six guests in a one-bedroom apartment was not an ideal situation for me.
With that said, the host is looking into getting some renovations done, so hopefully it'll be a better experience after that has been done.
