Charming standalone guest cottage next to our turn-of-the-century farmhouse. Located on a beautifully manicured two-acre parcel surrounded by vineyards and only minutes from Yountville. Four-star amenities inside. No exterior photos for privacy.
The private guest cottage sits on the northwest corner of the property next to hundreds of acres of vines. Its doors and windows open to a rose garden and a huge lawn that encircles one of the oldest and largest oak trees in Napa Valley. Please don't interpret the lack of external photos as an indication that the property isn't photogenic, because it is magazine beautiful. We have chosen not to post external photos for our privacy.
The cottage itself has one huge room (900 square feet) with a vaulted ceiling, wood plank flooring, and a dozen windows that flood the room with Napa Valley sunshine. There is a separate bathroom with a new glass and tile shower enclosure and a large empty closet to store luggage and hang the clothes you will be wearing to dinner.

I live in the main farmhouse and am on the property in the evenings and on most weekends. I am always available by cell phone for assistance or for local recommendations.
I am the owner and caretaker of a beautiful 2-acre parcel of the Napa Valley floor with a nineteenth century farmhouse and standalone guest cottage. I keep chickens and grow everything from beets to oranges to strawberries to pomegranates. I make wine in my garage, vinegar in my shed, and preserves in my kitchen. Most of the time, I'm mowing, blowing, cleaning out gutters, mending fences, pruning trees, and fixing up my 125-yr-old farmhouse. When the chores are done, I cook dinner, make music, and write.
