I'm happy to welcome you to my home. The atmosphere is calm, cozy and friendly. The location is safe, inspiring and very convenient. A 5 minute walk get's you to a metro, Parc La Fontaine, yummy restaurants and grocery stores.
Your private bedroom is very clean, medium sized, and fully furnished with a double bed, mirror, table, reading lamp, stool (or chair if preferred) and pretty much anything else you'll need. It has wood floors, windows and a small closet. The decor is uncluttered with artwork, interesting ambient lighting and houseplants.
The open-concept living, dining, kitchen, has a cafe feel to it. The kitchen is fairly well stocked with pots, pans and utensils for cooking meals. You are welcome to prepare your own meals if you wish to :) There's even an espresso machine and complimentary coffee, tea and milk are available. During the summer months there is a balcony on the rear of the building that has a tree overhanging it that you are welcome to relax on. The apt layout is not typical for Montreal, there isn't a single hallway and no access to the back alley which gives it a strong sense of security. There is a full bathroom with a bathtub and generous counter space. Soap and towels are available for use.

My work in the visual arts and interior design allows me a good deal of flexibility. I work both from my artist's studio in Mile End and from home. My boyfriend and I are happy to give you tips on all the Montreal gems that we adore!

Guests will need to be happy to stay with a dog in the house. He's a Boston Terrier that hardly barks and loves to play :) He accompanies me to work during the days so he's not a constant fixture in the apartment.
This is a pleasant non-smoking, drug-free home environment where being considerate of others is super important.
I'm a 30-something, female professional artist and interior designer. I have a very kind boyfriend and a super friendly dog (not the 'barky' kind) who share my home with me. I speak some french, a bit of spanish and there's no issue here with what language a guest speaks. I really enjoy hosting, brunches with friends and fun dinner get-togethers now and then. Cooking, reading, playing with my pup and making stuff is how I spend most of my free time. I'm very tidy, practical and super easy going.
