Fully furnished studio in the heart of downtown San Francisco and right down the street from Westfield Mall. A clean and safe environment in a classic SF style building with safe key fob entry.
The host was very helpful and responsive. This place is within 10-15 minute walk to both Bill Graham and Moscone. I am giving this apartment 4 stars because the place was nice and perfect for what I needed it for and the host cannot control what happens on the streets in downtown San Fran. However, the neighborhood was not appealing and there were moments when I did not feel safe. The trash and smells were bad and at one point I felt like I was in New Orleans on bourbon street. I was approached a number of times asking to buy drugs or needing money by homeless and other shady people. If this apartment was in another neighborhood or the streets/area were cleaned up I would stay here again. If you stay here I recommend walking in a group or getting an Uber back. Mattress was ok, well slept on in the center.
Sierra made spending a week in San Francisco as easy as could be and was super helpful in dealing with an odd schedule of coming and going. The studio was clean, always felt safe, and was exactly as described. Being so close to the well-traveled Market St, you could always feel safe walking to and from no matter the time. Everything was so close that I never needed a car, and only ordered a ride to save time. I would definitely stay again!
The host was excellent and very flexible about available times. I was actually allowed to give the key back at 7:30pm on my checkout day. The place itself was very clean and quaint. The location is very close to all the public transportation lines you could possibly need to get around the area if you don't walk(walking was just as easy). It is very close to a lot of the nicer areas, but is unfortunately right between the nicer area and a dirty neighborhood that is undesirable. For the price though and the proximity to what I wanted to be near in town the area it is in was acceptable. Overall a good experience, thank you!
