Please be aware this space is semi-subterranean, so you may here house noises (water running, heating system knocking slightly). The house was built in 1955.
Bob and Dany are rarely available to greet you upon your arrival. The door has a code-access door knob for ease of access.
CANCELLATIONS/REFUNDS – In order to obtain a full refund of your deposit, a THIRTY-DAY or greater notice is required for cancellation. No refunds are given for cancellation within less than thirty days.
SMOKING – There is no smoking allowed anywhere on the property at anytime.
PETS – We are not permitting pets at this time.
ODOROUS COOKING – We respectfully request that you do not cook or reheat any food items containing very strong odors that can become embedded in the fabrics of the apartment. Specifically curry.
We reserve the right to charge an additional cleaning fee of $60.00 should very strong odors linger in the apartment and require additional cleaning, such as laundering window coverings and rugs.
PERFUME, COLOGNE, BODY SPRAYS – Please refrain from using or spraying any perfume, cologne, body sprays, etc. in the apartment. Subsequent guests may have allergies that will affect their comfort. If you do use these products, please use them outside of the apartment.
LINENS – The house is supplied with bed linens, towels, blankets and pillows. All linens are freshly laundered prior to your arrival. We provide your initial supply of paper products, soaps, detergents, trash bags, etc for your convenience.
ROUTINE HOUSE CLEANING – Guests are responsible for routine light cleaning and straightening such as sweeping and placing garbage in the outside receptacle.
PARKING - Please park your vehicle in front of the house on the street. Off street parking is not available at this time.
CHECK-IN: After 4:00 PM
The entrance to the apartment is in the front of the house just below and in front of the front steps. Once you arrive at the garage door look left and you will see a pathway leading to your private entrance. Access code will be provided to you one day before your arrival.
Please note: We enforce quiet time from 9:00 PM until 7:00 AM.
CHECKOUT: Before 11:00 AM
On the morning of your checkout please do the following:
Place all towels in the hamper provided. You may leave beds unmade.
Bring all trash to the garbage pail located at the foot of the driveway.
Please lock the door and window, and turn of air conditioning and/or heat, and lights prior to your final departure.

We participate in sustainable housekeeping.
HOUSEHOLD HOW TOs: A recycling bin is provided for your use. There is a pail for all recyclable materials metal, glass, plastic and a separate paper bag for paper. At this time we do not provide composting. Please rinse out any used plastics or aluminum cans and place these in the bin, along with folded boxes or papers.
Over 75% of guests who are asked to participate in our new resource savings program do help by using their towels more than once. You can join your fellow guests to help save the environment by reusing your towels during your stay.
TO OPERATE HEAT:
Be sure the switch is on HEAT. Use the up and down arrows to raise or lower the temperature. When leaving for an extended period… please reduce the temperature to 58 degrees or turn off completely.
When leaving the apartment for any amount of time it is required that all non-essential electricity be turned off. This includes lights, air conditioning, etc. We reserve the right to enter the space to turn off any non-essential electricity should it be left on while you are out.
REPAIRS /SERVICE CALLS:
We cannot guarantee against mechanical failure of equipment such as heating, air conditioning, TV's or other appliances. Please report any equipment that is not operating properly and we will make every effort to resolve the problem as quickly as possible. Renter(s) understand and agree that owners of Spring Road Guest Studio or its repair people might need access to the apartment for the purpose of making the repair.
