It's a great place with a nice view and isolated as well. The cabin itself is cozy and has a nice patio. There is a review book as well which btw I think is an excellent idea, you can read all the guest reviews and places they have been to and routes they took as well. I would definitely visit again during both summer and winter. PS: There are individual heater switches in each room, so please do not turn them off. When we visited it was turned off in one of the bedrooms and the room was chilly, we turned it on and by morning it was normal.

Very nice place, well marked hiking trails with nice views and almost no tourists. Our children enjoyed the surroundings of the house very much. Olav was very friendly, and nothing was problem.

Die Kommunikation mit Ingrid war äußerst freundlich und auf Nachfragen wurde schnell und offen reagiert. Die Hütte ist wirklich sehr süß und die Leiter ins Schlafzimmer hat mittlerweile Kult-Status erreicht. :D Entspannung pur und die Außendusche war überhaupt kein Problem. Die Lage direkt am Fjord ist phantastisch.

Vi hadde et fint opphold (selvom det regnet mye) veldig kjekt sted å bo når man har hund. Gåavstand til Skudeneshavn. Rent og pent på felles toalett, bad og kjøkken😊

Hyggelig plass og nydelig natur. Kommer tilbake til sommeren når det er masse kjekt å finne på med barn

Tom has been really open and friendly! He even welcomed us to join him and His family in their activities! If you’re looking for the “standard” airbnb, luxury flat and waterfall shower that is not the place. But if you want a unique experience that I believe is worth the experience, in a cozy place with a surprising original design, that is the place. 15 min walking from the centre, 5 minutes ish from the nearest bus stop and Meny (shopping centre). Nous vous recommandons cet cabine pour profiter d'un moment de calme avec une vue magnifique. L'hôte est très accueillant, il s'est déplacé pour nous fournir de quoi faire un feu sur le brasero extérieur. Nous avons passé un moment inoubliable. Encore merci.

Die Unterkunft von Rebecca hat uns wirklich gut gefallen, so eine ruhige Unterkunft. Perfekt zum Entspannen nach einer Wanderung. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt 🥰 Wir kommen gerne wieder! 😊

Het hutje en de plek waren echt fantastisch! Hele mooie rustige omgeving, en ook een goede locatie om naar de preikestolen te gaan. We hebben genoten van ons verblijf en de lekkerneijen die we in de boerderijwinkel hebben gekocht.

wonderful location and a unique experience. the second floor is a hassle with small children and the cabin is a bit hard to reach with a lot of luggage in snow season, something to be aware off. Cabin is not very big, but really well designed and a joy to be in. Overall very pleased and great communication and great service from host, who even drove up with firewood when I reported it had gone empty.

Die Unterkunft ist sehr idyllisch und ruhig,oben in den Bergen. Man hört nichts außer die Schafe und das Wasser. In der Hütte war genug Holz zum Heizen und der Bach um Wasser zu holen war nicht weit. Wir konnten unter einem Wasserfalls duschen, was recht frisch war. Wir haben die Berge in der Gegend erkundet und wilde Heidelbeeren gegessen und hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit. Die Schafe waren sehr süß und wir folgten ihren Fährten. Rolf half uns sehr geholfen in dem er uns mehrmals mit seinem Auto brachte. Er transportierte uns mit unseren Einkäufen vom Dorf wieder hoch zur Hütte und brachte uns zur Fähre, so dass wir nicht auf den Bus angewiesen waren.

Fantastic place! The cabin is even more beautiful than in the pictures and has everything you need. I loved the hot shower and the comfortable bed! The location is peaceful, with great hikes like Preikestolen nearby, and a ferry that offers spectacular views of the Lysefjord from the water. Alf is super responsive, friendly, and a great host. Absolutely worth it!

Åse and Alex have created a truly special place surrounded by forest and innately connected to nature. The cabin itself was beautifully designed and cosy, with a view out towards the private beach and sea. We felt immediately relaxed and wish we could have stayed longer. Thanks to Åse and Alex for being attentive and helpful host, giving recommendations for walks in the local area. I highly recommend.
