This story could have started in the 40's, but we'll start in the 60's when this tiny cabin was local housing to graduate students at Duke. Wonderfully located and unlike anything else this close to Duke University or downtown Durham, the Green Door cabin welcomes you for the weekend or week. Fully renovated recently while keeping the charm intact. You can feel as isolated as you want with every amenity within just a couple of miles. Duke Forest Trails and Duke CC Trail within walking distance.

Historic Warrenton Small Cabin

Beautiful guest house, located steps from the main house, hidden from public. The cabin is tucked away in our manicure backyard. Spacious fenced in yard where your fur babies can run free. Enjoy the large pergola with comfy seating for nighttime relaxation or dining. The house offers a living room, kitchenette (NO STOVE) and spacious bathroom. The second floor is a large LOFT with a dividing wall separating the two sleeping areas. There are 13 steps to the second floor. ABSOLUTELY NO PARTY!

If you are looking for a quiet and relaxing getaway, look no further. As soon as you walk in this spacious cabin, you will experience a feeling of calm and peace. There are plenty of rocking chairs on the porch to read, sip on coffee (included), or just sit and be. Wake up to the sounds of birds chirping in the distance, or sit at night on the porch, and enjoy the sounds of frogs, and watch as the deer walk by in a sea of fireflies. At night there are a million stars to sit under.
