Mary went above and beyond to accommodate The cabin is adorable with lots of nice touches, and the outdoors areas are simply amazing. The closet kitchen is well supplied . We actually cooked all but two meals during our week-long stay. The bed is very comfortable. I highly recommend "The Bear's Den" for your stay in the Franklin, NC area.

You can stay in and relax by the creek in the backyard or go hiking on the nearby trails. The home is a great base camp for day trips to Asheville, Highlands, or Cherokee. Downtown Franklin is only about a 15 min drive with its great restaurants, craft breweries, gem mining and more! The house is a perfect place for your next family gathering and it’s pet friendly too.(small fee)

Set on 3/4 of an acre, in a neighborhood setting, surrounded by beautiful trees and a small creek you can listen to while enjoying your morning coffee on the covered deck. This well-equipped cabin is only 3 miles to downtown Franklin (8 minute drive). There is also a Walmart just two miles away. Close to many activities including white water rafting, hiking, biking, waterfalls and scenic drives. 30 minutes to Highlands for great shopping & Dry Falls!
