What an absolute gem of a place. It was immaculate and incredibly well stocked. The kitchen equipment was of a very high standard. The welcome pack was a real treat and so much appreciated. The information book was extremely well designed. We will definitely book again. Very impressive. The host Nicola was very easy to contact and extremely helpful. Thank you so much.

Very nice flat, a few minutes walk to the sea. A great location for the coast and the New Forest (10min drive away). Carl was very helpful and the flat was very clean. We had a great few days.

What a wonderful find, location, location, location! The lodge is right on the river where you can watch the daily foray of boats, paddle boards, canoes and wildlife. The lodge itself was very clean with plenty of storage and cupboard space. Gorgeous outside space with strategically placed hammocks and chairs to watch the world go by. I had a massage in the spa which was wonderful and we all went in the sauna with its cold water pool, all on site, what an experience! Christchurch high street is 2 mins away with its many restaurants and shops. I would definitively recommend this Airbnb.

thank you so much for letting us stay in your cottage we had a really lovely time and the house was perfect! So much so that my husband said if we come to Bournemouth next year for our grandsons football tournament we will stay again if your cottage is still available! I would not hesitate to recommend the cottage to family and friends

The Captains retreat is a beautiful cottage with everything you should need to hand. The decor is lovely and just as the photos portray. It is very private with its own sweet little courtyard and late afternoon there was still beautiful sunshine to sit outside and enjoy. Unfortunately we had to leave earlier than expected due to family illness but Helen was the most responsive and friendly host. Extremely helpful with recommendations and very flexible where possible with check in and out times. We very much hope to return in the future to enjoy the full experience, thank you Helen:)

Despite unpredictable weather we enjoyed our week at Richard's place. The flat was cosy and handy for local amenities and for heading off to explore the New Forest. Everything we needed (and more!) was provided, with the added bonus of a breakfast basket full of local produce. The parking space was appreciated too. There was a bit of noise from the Social Club next door but really our only niggle was not being able to contact Richard either by phone or by the message box provided online by Airbnb when we wanted to ask what to do with the keys when we left. In the end, we left them on the table in the flat and hoped that was ok. We would happily recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in this area.

Had the most amazing time ! Karen was easy to reach out to and she has the most amazing lodge with all the comfort of home from home. Private surrounding and all the amenities. This is a gem and I will certainly be coming back Karen thank you for sharing a little piece of heaven ! Natasha
