Gail’s house was brilliant. Very tranquil and in a peaceful location, and the wildlife was fab. The house was huge and contained everything you might need for a fun weekend away!

If you're looking for a quiet place to recharge your batteries I would definitely recommend this gem of a place. With hot tub, barbecue room, twinkly lights and a log burner to relax in front of you can't go wrong.

I booked this property for my husband and his 3 friends for his 40th birthday. Wallace was extremely communicative at all times, and was very welcoming to the group on arrival. One of the guests arrived early and while Wallace explained the place would not be ready till check in, the guest was able to fish on the loch till later in the day, and thoroughly enjoyed himself! The property was as described, perfectly clean and the location was exactly what I was looking for when I booked. It was easy to find, and the walking guides and maps of the local area were very helpful too. Would book again!

Such an idyllic little cottage. Almost hard to believe how nice it (and the surroundings) were. Went for a nice walk around the neighborhood and there were birds singing and flowers everywhere. Would stay again!

Kristy provided clear directions with a warm personal welcome - including some candy bars (my wife’s favorite Kit Kat)! Her cabin was perfect for our stay and the hot tub was great on an 8 degree day after a swim in Loch Ness. I HIGHLY recommend staying with Kristy if a cabin setting appeals to you.

We had a wonderful time at Balnacraig Lodge. It had everything we needed and more! We especially loved the large living room which was perfect for socialising and the hot tub. We also loved that the lodge was very baby friendly. We had our 6 month old with us and the highchair and baby monitor meant I didn’t need to bring half our house with us. Really just the most perfect lodge for our wee weekend getaway.

La promesse de la vue était fabuleuse et nous avons pas été déçus. Si vous recherchez un endroit paisible et isolé, c’est l’endroit parfait. Il n’est pas parfaitement placé si vous cherchez les endroits touristiques à visiter mais le lieu se suffit à lui même pour quelques nuits et il est parfait pour se reposer et profiter du calme. Les chambres et pièces de vie sont très belles et bien décorées. Merci de mettre une belle maison comme ça à disposition.

This place is a real gem with stunning views ! Our family really enjoyed staying here. It was very clean and well equipped! And there was clear and great instructions for everything.

Stunning location opposite distillery, 2 mins walk from beach and town centre. The burn running through the back runs under the road to the distillery. Former cooperman's house, still in same family. Very comfortable & peaceful. Loved it.

This place was perfect for our group. Scenic views perfect for sitting out in the garden or walking amongst the hills. Highly reccomend this place for a group of friends or a family. Cozy, clean, accommodating, welcoming, and gorgeous. Highly recommend.

For the second time we did visit this hidden gem in the highlands. Grant and Laura are very welcoming and helpful with any questions we had. The house is perfect for a family of four. It has everything you need, including comfortable beds. With a little drive their are some great beaches with only few visitors. For a good hike try to climb the Resipole or one of the other mountains. On a clear day the views on top are second to none Lastly you can visit the restaurant at the Strontian hotel (aka Bothy bar) Great food, with an exceptional view. We did visit many spots in Scotland but Ardnamurchan is definitely our favourite. It is as beautiful as Skye but without the busloads of tourists

Ottima stanza molto nuova e pulita in contesto di fattoria. Spazio privato non enorme, ma compensato da molto spazio nella struttura come una grande sala giochi che abbiamo sfruttato in pieno con le nostre bimbe di 2 e 4 anni. Molto piacevole svegliarsi, aprire la finestra e vedere cavalli e altri animali. Ottima base per chi vuole girare le highland, isolata ma non distante dai principali servizi.

Second visit to the Old Checkpoint. Great location for hillwalkers, lots of Munros nearby and a lovely warm comfortable cottage to relax in at the end of a day in the hills. we’ll be back!

Très bel emplacement pour cet appartement. Il s’agit bien d’un appartement parmi d’autres dans l’abbaye. Belle vue sur le loch ness.

A great getaway with loads to do close by for whatever mood you're in - great towns and cities like Calendar and Stirling less than half an hour away, equally beautiful countryside and multiple waterfalls, lochs and walks to choose from on the doorstep. Our toddler loved the on site swimming pool and the grown ups enjoyed the peaceful views from the hot tub too! Rosie was so friendly and accommodating.

Perfect stay for a large group wishing to have both a taste of rural Scotland and the bright lights of the city! Great house for large groups with more than adequate cooking facilities. Excellent hot tub that was kept meticulously clean. The hosts were amazing and so helpful with helping me organise a stag weekend. Sharing local knowledge and recommendations of activities and hostelries, etc. Milngavie is a perfect location to explore both Glasgow city (20 minute train ride) and hit the start of the West Highland Way! Milngavie was a nice little town itself with an active high street and a good Tesco and station just a 3 minute walk from Pleasant Hill. We really enjoyed Fullbacks sports bar as well- good value food and an atmosphere. Activities we enjoyed from Pleasant Hill were a walk to Glengoyne Distillery, afternoon and night out in West End Glasgow and a speed boat pub tour of Loch Lomond! Thanks again Chris!

Wonderful place and hosts! Caroline and her husband were wonderful, made our anniversary very special. The wood fired hot tub was such a delight after some long hikes in the mountains and they made sure it was perfectly heated for us each night. They went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stay. left is some treats that were amazing and it's just such a cozy cottage. We absolutely loved our stay here.

Another wonderful stay here. Cozy, comfortable caravan with a beautiful, peaceful view. Spotlessly clean, great shower, comfy sofas, helpful hosts. Perfect for watching the world go by outside. Can't wait to return next year!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, Douglas is an attentive host who was available when needed. The bungalow was equipped with everything we needed for cooking and resting which was much appreciated as our stay was over Christmas! Douglas very kindly gifted some wine and chocolates and he was there for our arrival to show us around the house, giving some useful information on nearby shops, places to eat and things to do. We were unfortunate with the weather; however, the bungalow was very cosy and thoughtfully decorated for Christmas and time spent inside looking out at the fabulous views made up for it!

Amazing host, who completely made us feel at home. Couldn't of asked for better communication and as for the property , unbelievable. Prime location, and to have an extra warm sauna, extra cold cold plunge, working jacuzzi and games room is almost unheard of. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay . Oli
