Located at the top of Scotland you'll enjoy one of the best views in the area - even the locals are envious! One mile off the popular NC500 tourist route, our two pods and a Shepherd's Hut offer peace and quiet in an idyllic location with some amazing sunrises, sunsets and starry skies.

Shepherd Moon - Sea View Cottage near NC500

Shepherd Moon is a charming traditional cottage in an outstanding location just off the North Coast 500. When you arrive, you will appreciate the private parking and electric vehicle charger at the rear of the cottage. Armadale Farm Cottage, Armadale Bay

Owned by Joyce Campbell, a prominent Scottish hill farmer and shepherdess widely recognised for her appearance on the BBC series 'This Farming Life', this gorgeous wee home has been renovated to encapsulate the traditional Scottish feel which we know our guests can't get enough of. Fluffy sheepskin throws, soft furnishings made from wool from the flock, a cosy wood burning stove - all within walking distance of the beach, makes this delightful cottage a perfect home for your Scottish getaway.

Valhalla View-NC500

A truly unique get away set on over 14 acres of its own land, over looking the Orkney Islands, 3 mins off the official NC500 Route. With features like its own 6 person hot top, 2 bathrooms, modern kitchen and spacious dining area, and 3 double bedrooms plus a extra guest room with a pull out sofa bed. Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place. Only 15 mins from John o'grotes and Dunnet beach Also the chance to witness the spectacular Northern lights (Aurora) on the right occasion.

A traditional croft house, lovingly refurbished, with beautiful uninterrupted views over Sangobeg beach (2-3 mins away) and the North Atlantic beyond. Cosy lounge with wood burning stove, 3 bdrms, 2 bthrms. The famous Smoo Cave and closest pub/restaurant are one mile away. Durness village hosts two shops, petrol station, and another pub/restaurant. Balnakeil Craft Village has local artists and businesses including a chocolatier, hairdresser, eatery, art galleries, and more.

The Kylesku Kabin- luxurious wilderness

A luxuriously appointed property situated on the NC500 overlooking some of the most iconic mountains and sea lochs of Assynt. Kylesku Kabin has been fully renovated by acclaimed architect Helen Lucas and is owned by the previous owners of the nationally recognised multi-award winning Kylesku Hotel, which is within walking distance. The property features a luxurious spa bathroom, including steam room and inspirational open plan living space, designer kitchen and garden.

BERRISCUE HOUSE - ENTIRE COTTAGE - THURSO

Berriscue House is a beautiful, bespoke cottage - located in the centre of Thurso, hidden away from the world with a large walled garden and private entrance. Five minute walk from the beach. Everything you need for a cosy Scottish retreat! If booking the same day after 6pm please message as it may still be possible to book. If you require the extra bed in the living room, you must tell us in your initial message so we know to prepare this for you.

Whisky - Pods on the Croft

We are a working Croft in the heart of the highlands overlooking Loch Shin, with views of Ben More Assynt. Where a warm welcome awaits you. Come and explore what Sutherland has to offer from walking, canoeing and cycling to fishing and a good game of golf all within easy drive. Spend the night in either Whisky or Skipper. One of our pods named after our dogs. Take a seat on the deck with a cuppa or a glass and watch the world go by.

Island View Glamping Pods is delighted to offer our 2nd Glamping Pod-Heilan Coo We offer a cosy stay for couples wishing to visit the Highlands of Scotland or travelling the world famous NC500 route. With spectacular views out to the islands at the entrance to the Kyle Of Tongue. The pod can accommodate up to 2 adults with 1 large king size bed and double sofa bed. MINIMUM 2 NIGHT STAY

The Pavilion, Foulis Castle, Highland Scotland

The Pavilion is a Luxurious Self Catered Wing of Foulis Castle just out of Evanton near the ancient burgh of Dingwall. The Pavilion is positioned within beautiful landscaped gardens overlooking the Cromarty Firth. Foulis Castle is a 15-20 min walk away from the Storehouse of Foulis Restaurant & Farm shop, which is situated on the shore of the Cromarty Firth (Mon-Sat 9-5pm).
