Would recommend. Lovely flat in a fantastic location. We had problems checking in as the door was locked. However, given 5 stars as the issue was dealt with quickly.

Margaret is a great host. The description of the studio was spot on. Very compact, self contained and spotlessly clean. We used it for a New Years break and it was within good walking distance to the town. Communication from Margaret was excellent.

Second time here really enjoyed our stay

I rarely ever write reviews but this one was too amazing not to. Everything from the small details for my sister's birthday to the place blew us away. It's like a small paradise & completely unique. Very private & peaceful! I 100% would return, you will not regret booking this gem of a place. Thank you the most amazing hosts for being so kind & thoughtful!

The apartment was spacious, very secure & had a lovely outlook with a lovely balcony which was used on arrival to enjoy a drink as the weather was so great. Bridge Inn was just opposite & served good food. Added bonus was the bus stop by the pub which took us directly to the Yorkshire Sculpture Park which was on our list of places to visit which meant we didn't have to use the car.

Perfect if you’re ever in the middlesborough area. 5* hosts, spotless inside and out. A must stay. Equipped with everything you need. Couldnt be better 🤝

What a perfect place to stay with all of the family from 11 months to 80+yrs of age. Accessibility for my mum was excellent with walk in showers and sofa chairs easy to get in and out of. A travel cot and high chair provided for the youngest member of the family. A dishwasher including the tablets along with a fully equipped kitchen, plastic glasses for use in the hot tub ideal with a glass of wine or too. Our two dogs enjoyed lots of walks and it was brilliant that the garden was fully enclosed and safe for them too. Sarah the host was lovely nothing was too much trouble, little touches like jigsaws and board games where available and the barn had been decorated for Christmas to make you feelst home. The barn was in a beautiful location with lots of walks and a local pub ( booking is essential). If your into astronomy go to Grassholme Observatory I learnt so much and the dark skies are awesome. We had a lovely New Years break and would highly recommended Sunrise Barn for families.

Great space for 4 adults, an infant and 2 dogs while visiting family. The property was clean and tidy and finished to a high standard. The kitchen was well equipped. The house is located on a quiet estate close to countryside and with easy access into Durham. We really enjoyed our stay and will likely use the property again in the future.

We very much enjoyed our stay. Place was immaculately clean and very tastefully presented. Reece and Chloe had provided everything we needed. They are very friendly and extremely helpful and responsive, going the extra mile if needed. The location is great with lovely views and excellent walks/hikes. We had a fantastic short break at Thomas Gray house. The house itself was well-designed, clean and comfortable and the surroundings were beautiful, with easy access to the Lake District and Morecambe Bay. Our children particularly loved the Air Hockey and other games, as well as the huge TVs. They didn’t want to leave at the end of our stay.

Great location for the village. There is a little bit of road noise but it didn’t disturb us at all. The bed linen and towels were beautiful crisp white and the beds really comfy. The apartment is really comfortable and has private parking. Gill was super friendly and responsive. We had a lovely few days away. Thank you cor Easter treats too, our 5 year old was made up.

Great room for the price paid, easy access to the city centre and amenities and a really nice room. Mahnoor was easy to contact and very helpful as a host. Would happily stay again

The apartment was lovely, can not fault it at all. The host was extremely helpful and friendly. Also left plenty of snacks and goodies at the apartment. Would 100% recommend staying here. Wouldn’t think twice about booking again. Was a wonderful stay 👍🏼

The perfect place for a night stay or longer! Me, my partner and dog stayed for one night and it was great! Parking, comfy bed and a garden to let the dog out! Would definitely come back!
