Although small our place is cozy, with a comfortable bed, wifi & Netflix, cooking facilities and utensils, with all the views of the Kaimai that one could want. A peaceful getaway - not completely shunned from society but, just enough to de-stress and relax. Feeling keen enough to brave the night? Lay on the deck and behold the wonders of the sky illuminated by thousands of twinkling stars. We aim to be a home away from home.

Hobbiton Countryside Sanctuary

Beautiful 1 bedroom stand alone cottage that can sleep 4. A private oasis on a rural property surrounded by trees with views of rolling paddocks and farm animals. Full kitchen with all you need. Or a short drive to town will serve you with plenty of local eateries and takeaway options. One spacious bedroom with a queen bed and access to the deck. Te Miro Luxury Getaway

Adults-Only Private Getaway. In the countryside of Te Miro, in the heart of New Zealand's central North Island just 15 mins from Cambridge, featuring breathtaking views and spectacular sunsets. Our two-bedroom suite includes a lounge and dining area, luxurious bathroom, and private hot tub/jacuzzi. With its own private entrance, the suite is connected to one end of the owner’s residence yet remains completely secluded for your comfort and privacy. Not suitable for children under 13 yrs.

HK’s Nest

Centrally located, it’s a 500m walk to the centre of Matamata and all it has to offer. Tom Grant Drive and Centennial Drive nearby park-like walks shared by all. The beds are a queen bed in the bedroom and a double sofa bed in the lounge is available for use as well. Easily accessed via ramp, the space is private and spacious. A simple breakfast of toast, cereal and hot drinks is provided. A separate deck and fenced yard provides for further enjoyment or secure parking for trailers.

Hillside Cottage

Nestled between grassland and trees, this guest house is the perfect place to soak up New Zealand’s beautiful nature. Relax watching the birds and scenic hills or get hands on with the family pets. You can feed the alpacas or visit the chicken to collect some eggs. There is always a spare paddock for horsey people visiting the area and plenty of room to park a trailer or boat. We are located 10 min away from Hobbiton, Karapiro lake and 15 min from Cambridge town centre.

Signal Ridge Cottage is a renovated and modern little cottage, located on a working dairy farm 14km from Matamata. Neighbouring Hobbiton, and with beautiful views of the Kaimai Ranges, we have all you need for comfort away from home. Enjoy the toast, cereal, yoghurt, eggs, fruit and milk provided for your breakfast during your stay as well as complimentary tea and coffee. There is a fully equipped kitchen and laundry with washer and dryer for your use.

"The Old Church" Boutique Accommodation

Our wonderful home is a converted Catholic Church, built in 1954 which we were lucky enough to buy in 1996. It offers a unique and special stay, full of character with a peaceful atmosphere. A great place to spend time relaxing or exploring the beautiful area we live in. To add to this, Café 77 is situated right across the road in what was once the old derelict Manawaru Dairy Factory. They are open from 8 am to 3 pm daily and we can highly recommend!

Fantail Farm Loft - Peaceful & Spacious

Fantail Farm Loft is a private self contained guest suite located on a beautiful lifestyle block with a lush native bush outlook and views of the countryside. We love NZ's native bush and birds and here you will find a small oasis of native plants and bird feeders to attract native birds. Fantail, Tui, Kereru & Ruru are regular visitors. Relax inside or out on the spacious deck. Staying here you will feel like you're in a treehouse!

Rolling Views Vintage Retreat, a rustic old style accommodation, is an 8-minute drive from Hobbiton and Matamata. This relaxing setting has amazing rural views,, sheep, ducks, birds, fish and turtles. A full breakfast with fruit is provided. Have a romantic evening under the stars in an outdoor Spa Pool at extra cost of $10/person for one time use or $15/person for unlimited use.

Camellia Cottage

Camellia Cottage is a pretty garden, little rustic B & B located minutes from Matamata and on the way to Hobbiton (9 minute drive). The cottage is set on our 25 acre property which is the home to pet sheep, cows, horses and cats. A true country cottage

The Chapel

Beautiful historic home in Morrinsville township which was originally the home of the Catholic Nuns. Quiet location, suitable for a working environment or a holiday!
