We REALLY LOVE Hidden Hollow!!!!! We came last year at the end of October and had such a beautiful and peaceful stay that we had to repeat it this year. It’s our 3rd stay overall. :) Everything is perfect you feel warmly welcomed by all the special touches that Kim and family leave for guests. As you approach and enter Hidden Hollow, it is as if you are transported back in time to a magical Grandmother’s home, complete with the modern touches you need to be comfortable. If you’re considering booking a stay—go for it! Walk the property trails, build a fire & make s’mores, play some games in the sweet living room, and maybe visit WildCat Mountain State Park for a hike and great views of the Driftless Region. Coming here we feel connected to nature and part of something beautiful and peaceful. We always hear owls and see the whole Milky Way at night. We bring our own food but Hillsboro looks like it has some nice restaurant options too. 100% recommend—we’ll definitely be back!!!

Our stay at Therese's was spectacular - everything we expected + more! The moment we walked in, it was fresh, clean & spacious. We always appreciate a clean home that while still comfortable and inviting - it is not crowded or cluttered. All the rooms were super clean and tidy and the kitchen was well-equipped. The surrounding areas are intensely beautiful if you're looking for pure nature and peaceful surroundings. We would definitely stay here again and heartily recommend this property to anyone looking for a respite from large communities, noise and congestion. Peace & beauty are here.

What a comfortable home to stay in - we felt at home right away. It was immaculate, extremely well-organized, and easy to find items if needed. Mary Jo was generous with the coffee offerings, condiments and a well-stocked kitchen for cooking. The welcome basket and card was so thoughtful and generous! The outdoor spaces were stunning and peaceful. Loved the front porch and fire pit and the absence of traffic and noise was such a blessing! It was a wonderful home to relax in and even the TV choices were FANTASTIC. No instructions needed - if you wanted to watch TV, you push the remote and you are in. We appreciated a nice, clean home that showed lots of care. Thank you!!!!

John and Vickie are excellent hosts. They have a lovely home, warm, clean and comfortable and in a beautiful private setting. Its the thoughtful little touches that count and there are plenty to count. Toothpaste and toithbrushes in case you gave forgotten them... sugar, spices and granola bars in the kitchen.... excellent selection of pans and utensils.... powerful internet..... super comfortable beds with firm mattresses.... good pillows... the list goes in. Highly Recommended!

The cabin was perfect for me and my brothers stay

We always love visiting the Driftless region of Wisconsin - this was our 2nd stay at Bruce / Marji's home. We love the peaceful, private location and the views are stunning. A great place to unwind and relax with a good book and a glass (or 2) of wine. Cheers!

My family and I really enjoyed the place, the spectacular view, we would love to return in the summer, the weather was not very cooperative, there was a lot of ice.

Third time staying here, and as always, a nice relaxing spot just outside Boscobel. Since our last visit, they have redone their small sitting area to include a much more comfortable couch for lounging. Highly recommend!

Very peaceful. Very quiet. Very comfortable. Very scenic. We weren’t in the middle of nowhere, but we were close…a most relaxing stay.

I live close by but needed a space to attend a virtual course as home with a young family would prove too distracting. The host accommodated my needs, gave me a lovely space to utilize, and was extremely responsive and proactive. The cabin is lovely. I didn't need to stay overnight at the space but couldn't help but think how fun it would be for a young family or friends getaway. Very clean, quaint, with a smart design to accommodate multiple people--three bedrooms! As a nearby resident, I can testify that this area offers amazing beauty and peacefulness. There's no place quite like the valley!

The exterior and interior of the house were beautiful and unique. We had a little trouble getting in because the electronic lock wasn't working, but our host and his neighbor were able to resolve the provoked quickly! Once inside, we were delighted by the decor and the amenities (cereal, board games, nice soap, lots of fresh towels). We did have some trouble with the motion sensor lights on the nightstand, but our host responded quickly to help. Would stay again!

Absolutely beautiful place to stay right on the Kickapoo River, serene and surrounded by nature. Teresa is warm, welcoming and thoughtful. I absolutely plan to stay here again next time I am out this way!

A wonderful place to rest and tour the surrounding area.

We had such a relaxing time here. The cabin was clean and felt even bigger than the pictures. We brought our 3 kids and it didn’t feel cramped at all. There were toys for them to play with and they loved having the basketball hoop outside too. Great little getaway for our family.

Our trip exceeded all expectations. The home was beautiful inside and comfortable with such high quality amenities. The kitchen has stocked up with any utensils and pans you'd need. The hot tub was great and had a beautiful view to look out at. This is a great place to stay. Highly recommend!

Will definitely be coming back here every time we are in the area. The cabin felt Like home, with amazing views of their buffalo herd and rolling hills. Pristinely clean, comfortable, and peaceful. Exactly what we needed.

Our family absolutely loved this place. Enough space for everything, beautiful home. The best part was the setting, quiet and peaceful. We were able to enjoy coffee outside in the morning and watch the deer in the fields. We would absolutely love to stay here again. Great recommendations and Corey left some local items for us to try. Perfect stay!

Quaint little cabin in the woods. Not much around, but was a dollar store nearby for any needed items. Snacks, coffee maker, and basic items in fridge were a nice touch. Host provided us with a bundle of wood which allowed us to have smores in the fire pit in the yard outside. Inside electric fireplace was nice too.

Our son and daughter in law had their wedding at Chapters on the Horizon. The cabin was a short drive away on a country road like we have at home in northern Grant County. The view was very nice and it was very peaceful and quiet for us to relax away from all of the hectic weekend. Wished we could have enjoyed the deck and fire pit but we were too busy with the wedding. Everything was clean and felt like "home". She mentioned the wildlife was very abundant and we had deer on the road every trip we took over the weekend. The wifi was excellent which helps due the poor cell service in the hills. The lack of service made the wedding venue even better in our opinion. People weren't on their phones.

Our stay with Jenny was about quiet & no distraction, we most certainly got that. This is a little peace of heaven for nature lovers, easy to find and we did not feel lacking in anyway. Recommend the local Cafe, lots of character and the food is down home perfection. We plan to return, maybe this fall even, thank you Jenny, your place holds a special nook in our hearts.
