Hemlock Cabin is cozy and warm, built in 1924 on land adjacent to the Mt. Hood National Forest. With a large private deck under tall Douglas fir and cedar trees, it's a three minute walk to the wild and scenic Zig Zag River. An hour from Portland and usually snow free at 1500 feet, it’s 20 minutes to Ski Bowl, 30 minutes to historic Timberline Lodge, and 35 minutes to Mt. Hood Meadows. Winter or summer, Hemlock Cabin puts you in the heart of the recreational wonderland that is Mt. Hood.

Niksen House: Scandanvian style Cabin at Mt. Hood

*water pressure issue has been fixed! Niksen House is located just outside of Mt. Hood National Forest, 20 minutes from ski areas and an hour from Portland. The cabin is in a rural residential community and sits next to a 1/2 acre lot giving it an off-the-grid feel with all of the on-the-grid amenities.
