A quaint cottage near the beach, Beach House #1 gives you the best of both forest and beach-living. It is located just a short walk from the beach, perfect for spotting marine wildlife or catching a kayak tour. Picture windows in the sunroom capture the midnight summer sun and the dramatic forest views. The cottage features a master bedroom with a queen sized bed, and a private carpeted loft with a queen-sized mattress. A double futon in the living room brings the total sleeping areas to 6. The kitchen is fully equipped with pots, pans, dishes and utensils, and the house also features a full bath. Guests can enjoy use of the picnic area, with a barbecue grill and fire pit. A crib and baby gate are also available if required.

The boat trip is about 40 minutes each way - look for wildlife like whales, otters, eagles, sea lions, and more! This entire experience is included in your nightly rate.

It is two blocks from the ocean and three blocks from the famous Mount Marathon Trail. It is also a few blocks from downtown and the small boat harbor. Built in 1941, this home has some old house personality like a real wood floor that creaks in places. We do not allow smoking or pets. We also do not have a TV. Please enjoy your stay
