As others have mentioned, the place is an older building. However, if that doesn't bother you then this place is fantastic. Had 5 people in my group and the 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms was more than enough. 1) This place is about a 2 minute walk from Taipei 101 and the subway station. I'm not sure if you can find a place closer. It's within a residential area, so it's quiet and peaceful throughout the night. 2) Very clean kitchen, bedrooms, and bathrooms. The place overall is surprisingly spacious. 3) Host was great with clear instructions and very responsive. They were physically there to help us check-in. We had problems with the door lock, and delays with the driver from their shuttle service, and the host quickly helped us with both situations within minutes of contacting them. 4) Was very reasonable for the location. 5) The place offers a washer and dryer. The only issue we found was there isn't a water filter, so you will have to buy water yourself. Luckily the mall is very close.

If you are looking for a clean, comfortable, easily accessible, and safe place to stay in Xinyi, then your search is over. This apartment is as described and pictured in the listing. It is across the street from the W Hotel, Breese shopping center with high-end stores such as Van Cleef and Arpels, Chanel, Gucci, as well as popular brands such as Uniqlo, Muji, etc. There are so many options for food and drinks all within a minute walk from apartment. Subway is down the block and takes us one minute to walk there. Main bus stops are right outside the apartment complex that connects you to all parts of Taipei. Overall, a wonderful and memorable stay. Communication with host is easy and response time is very fast. I highly recommend this lovely apartment.

Seriously, if I could have 10 or 20 stars I’d give it to Kolette and this place. From the very beginning of my booking this Airbnb, she has been so responsive, so communicative, and so understanding of my situation. She explained all the guidelines and gave my family and I so much understanding and flexibility that honors both parties. When we had questions or concerns, she promptly answered them. Even booking the cars for pick up and drop off, she took care of everything for us and gave us such clear instructions. The apartment is comfortable, peaceful, and wonderfully located. For those who are not familiar with Taipei, it’s so convenient (so close to MTR, buses, taxis), and lots of local restaurants and malls nearby. Beautiful view. What you see is exactly what you get. Security was great. We felt right at home. It was truly a blessing to stay there. Thank you again; we can’t stop telling everyone what a miracle of a place this was!

Great stay! The location is perfect, right next to Raohe night market with tons of amazing food and restaurants nearby. The host was super friendly and kind, and made us feel very welcome. My family and kids really enjoyed the stay. Would definitely come back!

I enjoyed my stay here. The first time in Taiwan. I appreciate the host met me when I arrived to introduce me to the place and explain how to get in and out.

我們被升級到比原先預定還要大的房間。地點比較僻靜，從房間可以看到海，屋前還有小院子，雖然路很小不太好開，但有開闊的停車區。房內很乾淨，還備有水果、點心、泡麵、酒水等滿滿的在冰箱和櫃子。屋主很熱心的推薦附近景點和行程，距離九份只要開車5分鐘。很棒的住宿經驗。

Amazing host-our flight landed at 12am and she stayed up to help us with check in. The place was amazing, great for the 5 of us. It was close to convenient stores and the train.

房东阿姨非常nice，很温和，有很好的车技，入住前后都有专车接送服务，房东很爱干净，所以公共区域都打扫的很干净，房间超级大，可以放下三个大床铺，和图片一样干净整洁，晚上非常的安静，可以爬山，也可以去附近的老街吃美食，很好的一次体验！

The area is safe, clean, quiet, and accessable to Academia Sinica, MRT Station, and food hubs. Jeanette and Hugo are very accommodating. Thumbs up!

This apartment in Taipei is outstanding: a comfortable, clean, elegant layout; two bedrooms and bathrooms; right next to the metro; across the street from the city's best shopping; and (most importantly) very close to a fun street filled with traditional Taipei food stalls. The building has a 24-hour desk attendant so feels very secure. The apartment also has a nice, small kitchen (but who cooks in Taipei?) and a laundry (on the balcony). It also has a front balcony for sitting. It is just a great place to which to retreat when you need a rest from the busy life of the city; you can lay in bed and watch the lights. Highly recommended.

Loved staying at Richard’s place! Can’t beat the location. Very close to lots of food and shopping, MRT, YouBike, you name it. The space was comfortable, clean, and cozy. The projector with Netflix was a great touch. Hosts were extremely responsive and friendly. Would stay again!

We enjoyed the place, it’s very convenient with bus stop, convenient stores, bikes, and supermarket around. The place was very clean and the host was very responsive, helpful, and friendly the whole time. The house included all the necessary equipment and supplies to stay there like AC, wifi, heater, dehumidifier, kitchen appliances, towels, and bed sheets. I would definitely recommend the place and stay there if needed in the future :)

客廳很大，有辦活動的話很足夠；廚房稍微小了點；房間配置都是單人床，對於團體旅遊來說很好；有問題告知房東會立即處理，步行可達便利商店及捷運站，很方便。

The apartment was perfect for a long stay with our toddler. The apartment had everything we needed - laundry, an equipped kitchen, a big bathtub - and the front bedroom has a low bed with tatami next to it so perfect for a little one. I used to live in the area and always like to return here because of how local it feels - this is classic Taipei. No frills, nothing fancy, but so much heart and character. Add in a responsive and helpful host and it’s a great combo. Will definitely stay again!

I LOVED Libby's place! It was all I wanted - private, quiet, warm hearted people, and last but not least, easy access to warm spring. Grateful I got to stay as the last stop of my Taiwan trip, where I was able to completely rest, reset, and rewind.
