Niall is a very welcoming and friendly host. His property is located in a peaceful and picturesque location and affords lovely views across the valley. The property was clean and tidy and Niall thoughtfully left eggs and milk for us on arrival. Village train station very close by, and Whitby is within walking distance (for keen ramblers). All good!

Perfect accommodation for what we needed. Tea, coffee and milk in the kitchen were very much appreciated. Great location. Beds and rooms were comfortable.

Lovely home with everything we needed for the 12 days we stayed. Lauren was able to give us tonnes of information and everything was readily available. The location was also excellent - quiet area but within short walking distance to parks and the town centre.

We had a lovely stay at Stephen&Bev's caravan. View from the room window is absolutely stunning and instantly puts a smile on a face. There is lots to do nearby. We've found plenty of sea glass at the beach. Hosts are lovely and very helpful! Caravan is modern, pristine clean, lots of plates, cups, pots. Everything is in great condition. We will definitely come back again!

David was the perfect host from start to finish. Excellent communication. Flat was a home from home and great value. Plenty of room to spread out. Peaceful neighbourhood and a lovely walk into town through a treelined walk. Darlington had great amenities too. I would definitely stay again without a doubt.

We had a lovely Easter weekend stay. The house was well placed for the areas and attractions we wanted to visit, driving around was so easy even on a bank holiday weekend. A walk on the cliffs nearby on the first evening was peaceful and even saw a dolphin swimming along the coast for quite a long time which was an unexpected delight. Our son loved having a bath as we only have a shower and he thought all the murals around the house were great but he especially loved the big pirate (naval) ship outside! I even managed to do a little Easter egg hunt in the yarden on Easter Sunday. We didn't have any problems at all and really enjoyed our time away from living in a busy tourist area. thank you

Mark's house was lovely. It was spacious and tastefully decorated. The location of the house was great as the motorway is not far at all. Parking was very easy for our 3 cars and there is a great pub across the road.

The fish cottage fish tacos were the best we have ever had. If your wanting a breakfast definitely go to wits end cafe. Sandsend itself is a quiet, scenic village—ideal for long beach walks, exploring rock pools, or simply unwinding. It’s also just a short drive from Whitby, making it a great base for exploring the North Yorkshire coast. If you’re looking for a peaceful coastal retreat with style, comfort, and charm, this place is perfect. We’re already planning our return.
