Cairn Hill

This is the perfect retreat for the individual/couple who would like to meditate, read quietly, or write passionately. This lovingly maintained space is off the beaten path. One side is near the back of the Taos Indian Pueblo area, and to the North East is Eagle Nest Lake State Park. The final stretch to the cabin is bumpy, there is no TV or wifi, but the breeze through the trees coming off the foothills is pleasant, and there is very little traffic. Open some windows, grab a book, and relax.

Light and comfortable, with beautiful views of the ski slopes and surrounding mountains right on Main Street, walking distance to all the shopping and restaurants. The bedrooms are on the second floor, the kitchen and living room are on the third floor, with a loft over the kitchen w/queen bed.

This unique place has a style all its own. Resting in an old mining town with a great view of Baldy and Wheeler mountain. You can find us about halfway between Angel Fire and Red River, both amazing ski resorts! The bunkhouse is s 1 bedroom with a sitting room, an attached bathroom, and shower. we have TV, and the internet. My husband and I live in the house next door with our 2 friendly dogs, and cats, so if there are any concerns, we are close by. We would love to host you!
