Call at the village shop for supplies as you return to The Cabin. At the end of the day relax in the quirky candlelit outdoor bath whilst watching the stars in the Dark Sky Reserve.

Coach House Cottage a perfect seaside retreat

Coach House Cottage is an old Fishermans cottage above what used to be a stables and coach store (Now a dinosaur and fossil museum). Well situated, above the main street, in the lower part of Robin Hoods Bay it is moments from the beach, the dock, and the hustle and bustle of village life. The cottage is approached along cobbled alleys and/or up a series of stone steps. It is set in its own private back alley. Due to its location our much loved cottage is not for you if steps are an issue!

Enjoy lazy mornings at Woodpeckers Cottage Silpho as you watch the sun rise over the sea from the sofa. Take your dog to the field (exclusively yours throughout your stay). Walk the footpaths through fields & forests to valleys with streams and hilltops with views. Drive to dog friendly beaches, picnic on the sand and breathe in the sea air. Return to the dog field for afternoon tea or a glass of wine, where a bench for two in a peaceful sun trap provides panoramic views of the setting sun.

A lovely self catering holiday apartment,sleeps 2 and dogs are welcome. It’s situated above the lovely laurel inn pub. The kitchen/lounge area has WI-FI,recliner and easy chair,and a table and chairs. The bedroom has a quality double bed,hanging space and a smart t.v. Bedding and towels are provided. The bathroom has a shower,toilet,sink and a heated towel rail. ACCESSIBILITY- we are sorry to say that our rooms are not suitable for those with limited mobility,due to the steepness of stairs.

Hilda Cottage, lower Robin Hoods Bay!

Hilda Cottage is a 17th Century dwelling. The front door enters to the living area, downstairs is the kitchen. Upstairs is a double bedroom (WC ensuite) with sea views, and main bathroom, the top floor is the loft bedroom (double & single bed) and sea views! The stairs are narrow & steep, see photos If you're after old and quaint, Hilda is your girl, if you're after new and modern, she probably isn't 💗 No private parking or garden, see 'other details to note' section. Driving to either is a breeze, Scarborough being about a 15mins drive away & Whitby about the same. Our site is situated about a 2min walk away from the old Scarborough to Whitby railway ( Also known locally as the cinder track ) a walker & bike friendly trail.
