Traditional listed period property built circa 1840 in the heart of Collon village. Collon is a small village in County Louth situated 60km (45 min) from Dublin city centre & 35 min from the airport. 25 minutes to Emerald Park. The historical village of Slane and town of Drogheda are just 10 minutes drive with Newgrange just 15 minutes away. Our location is a perfect base to discover the Boyne Valley and East coast Our home offers plenty of period/original features blended with modern comfort.

Kitchen, living room and shower room on ground floor. 5 mins drive to Seagrave’s (wedding venue), Port (Blue Flag) beach & Salterstown swimming Pier. 10 mins drive from M1 via Dunleer, 1 hr approx Dublin Airport ( traffic depending). 1hr 30 mins, Belfast. Situated in the courtyard of Sandpit House, a period farmhouse dating to c. 1850 The luxury guest accommodation is conveniently located along Ireland's Ancient East Coast, just outside Drogheda. For international travellers the properties are approximately 30 mins from Dublin and 90 mins from Belfast Airports. The Coach House at Sandpit can boast a wealth of local amenities including neighbouring beaches, links golf courses, and many historic attractions in the nearby Boyne Valley.

Magical gothic 3 bedroom mini-castle.

The Clonmellon Lodge is an 18th c. gothic mini castle recently restored, newly refurbished bathrooms and kitchen, all in one floor, with easy access to the grounds of Killua Castle. The Lodge can fit 5 people comfortably. There are 2 bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. The first one with an ( American) Queen size bed, and the second with a double size bed. There is an office with a daybed that can sleep an small adult comfortably, and it has a full bathroom next to it.

While still convenient to Dundalk, Blackrock, Carlingford and Carrickmacross. Only an hour drive will take you to both Dublin and Belfast City (M1 Motorway Junction 16) We have lovingly restored and renovated this cottage over the years to provide a cosy and welcoming home.

Drummond Tower / Castle

Victoria Drummond Tower was built as a Folly Tower in the victorian period in 1858 by William Drummond Delap as part of Monasterboice House & Demesne. The tower is regarded as a folly tower built in remembrance of his late mother. Recently restored into a small habitable dwelling and is now available for rental for selected months of the year. A very unique and enjoyable place to stay with a vast range of local & historical amenities at your disposal.
