Sharon to say the least was a great host from start to finish she gave us alot of info on things to do and to book in advance without her knowledge of booking early attractions we would have missed out my 2 teenagers didnt want to leave her house is so comfortable and welcoming felt like home the coffee and creamer was a huge bonus for me the board games where a bonus for us as a family also she has a binder with tons of restaurants and info metro cards to borrow and even umbrellas for the inclement weather if your on the fence about staying somewhere else to save a buck do yourself a favor and spend that extra buck with sharons place would love to visit again in future very responsive and place is impeccable thanks again for hosting us Sharon and God Bless

Our stay was absolutely wonderful. The clean beds and linens, along with the well-equipped kitchen utensils, truly brightened our experience. Thank you so much! Points of Concern: Due to construction on the Purple Line, the road in front of the house turned into a gravel path, which became muddy on rainy days. Additionally, the noise from construction early in the morning was somewhat noticeable. We stayed on the ground floor, and at times, we could hear voices from the basement occupants late at night. It felt like further soundproofing measures might be needed.

We enjoyed our stay at Jb’s. It is a 15 minute drive to Quantico. It’s also a little over a half hour drive to Washington Monument. We walked the Neabsco Boardwalk which is less than a 3 min drive. There is a small kids park right behind the home and you can see it from the porch out back. You can also see other people on their porches as well. However, that didn’t bother us. We would definitely stay here again if in the area.

This was one of the best rentals we have stayed in. Kay was great. She even had the rental available before check-in time. The breakfast items she provided were so appreciated. When traveling to Farmville again we will definitely stay at this rental.

This was my first time using Airbnb, and I was a bit nervous since I didn’t know what to expect. However, the host provided clear instructions before my arrival, which made checking in easy. I was pleasantly surprised when I walked into the home—it exceeded my expectations. I’m typically used to staying in hotels when I travel, but this home offered much more privacy, which I really appreciated. While there was a nearby freight train, it didn’t bother me at all. The host was very responsive to my questions and helpful throughout my stay. There was a minor issue with the garbage disposal, but once I let the host know, they had it fixed by the next day, which was great. The location was convenient, with plenty of retail stores nearby like Marshall’s, Ross, the Nike Outlet, H&M, and even Dave & Buster’s. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would definitely stay here again if I’m back in town.

This place was amazing! My sisters and I went for a girls trip with our mom and we were only there for one day, but everyone kept raving about how amazing the house was. Very beautiful house, has all the amenities you need, and great location right by Short Pump.

Unfortunately we only had time to stay one night and were short on time so we didn’t get to explore the area too much. However the space was perfect! As other guests have mentioned, you can hear just about everything that is going on the floor above you. But it was not bothersome to us and nothing disruptive or ridiculously loud. The space was actually better in person, seemed larger and more spacious as well. Highly recommend!

This house met more than our expectations. The hosts were friendly and very quick to respond. The house was extremely clean and organized. It was perfect. We felt safe with our children. Plenty of space for us all. Anytime we visit DC, we will book our stay here! 10/10 recommend.

Great location! Host is excellent and very responsive. We spent 5 nights and always felt like we came “home” at night. The bed was very comfortable as was the entire space. Only negative, our feet hurt from walking the hills! Ha, no negatives, stay with Emi and you will be happy you did.

We loved our stay at John’s! He stocked the fridge with snacks before our arrival and had a detailed list of recommendations and amenities for us to peruse. It was a cozy and clean place to stay with many walkable restaurants and tourist attractions. He was also a kind and responsive host. Highly recommend!!

We had a wonderful stay at Enchanted in Alexandria! The space was beautifully stocked with everything we needed, and we felt comfortable and right at home from the moment we arrived. Becky was incredibly responsive and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was smooth and enjoyable. One of our favorite features was the garden area – so peaceful and charming, and the fire pit made it even more special. If we’re ever in the DC area again, we’ll definitely be booking Enchanted without hesitation. Highly recommend!

As a first timer in DC, I felt nicely situated at Lynn's place. It was very clean, easy to find, and had everything I needed after a day of exploring. Lynn was kind enough to leave magazines of restaurants in the area, places to food shop, a metro pass to get to places, and some food in the fridge. I felt very welcomed and would most definitely stay here again next time I am in the area. The apartment is closely located to some sites like the Smithsonian Zoo and Rock Creek park, which I didn't get a chance to visit this time but will next. Overall, lovely stay. Thank you :)

we stayed at rebeccas airbnb for 9 nights, and we really enjoyed our stay! it had thoughtful amenities (lotions, hairspray, etc) that visitors may have forgotten or run out of. there were some yummy snacks in the fridge ready for eating, and filtered water. the residence was very quiet and we did not experience disrupted sleeps (I wasn't sure as it is a basement). metro is a few blocks away and safeway was also a short walk away, so we didn't have to walk far when we wanted to get groceries or go to the national mall! the laundry machine in the unit is more of a compact size, which was great for washing some sweaty clothes after days of walking! one thing I would note is that the bedroom has an exterior entry light that is requested to be on at all times, and the blind for the back door does not cover the full length or width of the window, so a fair amount of the light enters the bedroom. it made the bedroom fairly light during sleeping hours.

Lisa is a fantastic host! Her place is nestled in a quiet residential section not far from downtown Charlottesville. The place was clean, comfortable, and well decorated. What really made the stay great was Lisa's attention to detail (e.g. providing a a few snacks, automated lights in strategic places, extra blankets and linens were easy to find, and a cell phone charger provided in convenient location). Would definitely stay here again.

Happy we stayed at Bruce and Vania's home, kind people! 10/10 would stay again. Everything matched the photos and the description. We were able to walk and explore the National Mall/museums without having to take the metro. Parking outside the door was a huge plus. The breakfast that Vania makes is special! Thank you for sharing your place with us!

We stayed in Katherine's place at a very difficult time - we came to DC for our son's heart surgery. We could not have been happier to be staying in such a comfortable, lovely, and truly homey place during this difficult time. The house is very practical, with a perfect lay out (it was my husband and I, our two kids, and our in laws staying at the house, and we had plenty of space). The play room and the variety of toys and books were absolutely amazing for the kids to be happy and entertained at home for hours on end, while my son recuperated from the surgery - the layout is excellent, because you can cook, or relax in the living room, while being able to monitor the kids at all times in the playroom. Katherine was very responsive, flexible and a please sure interact with at all times. The DC summer heat and mosquitos did not allow us to enjoy the backyard as much as we hoped, but in a different weather, the backyard would for sure be wonderful to enjoy.

We had a wonderful stay! Our host Mr Mitchell made us feel completely at home from the moment we arrived—so warm, welcoming, and thoughtful. The breakfast was absolutely amazing, and we really appreciated the great recommendations on what to see and do around the area. It truly made our trip extra special. Highly recommend staying here!

The host was super welcoming both Natalie & her mother! Beautiful personalties. The whole backyard was beautiful! She had wonderful plants. Felt like eating in a garden. I ordered just snacks for dinner after paying bills, and instead of me eating just the snacks, she made me dinner. Soooo good. The bed was comfortable! Bathroom clean, towels clean. The room smelled good. The view from the window is awesome. I slept good. I sleep on my couch at home and gave my boys the rooms, so the bed was so comforting. Her home was clean; lots of windows and good lighting. I wish I got to see Bambi but maybe next time lol. There were cute chocolates, tv had everything including YouTube. There was plenty of space as well. One thing about Natalie’s mom we had a great conversation plan on having another one. Natalie is talented, free spirited, and such a breath of fresh air. Mom was as well. Enlightening comforting experience! Thank you. I would recommend.

Marsha and Odin are absolutely wonderful hosts! And the Cozy Cottage is just lovely. It is the perfect location for anyone going to an event at the Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium. Thank you, Marsha, for your gracious hospitality! I very much enjoyed chatting with you! And I love Odin soooo much! I’m not sure if he was supposed to have it, but I found it so endearing when he brought a shoe over to show me 🥰😂 I will absolutely check for availability here for my next trip to Annapolis!

I can’t say enough about Lindy’s Airbnb! We were here for my daughter’s wedding. It proved to be a beautiful quiet restful retreat from the busy events. Lindy bent over backwards to make sure we had a pleasant stay even providing a delicious breakfast every day. We highly recommend it!
