From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and at home. The house was exactly as described—beautiful, clean, and equipped with everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and relaxing. The view from the property was simply breathtaking! Whether it was enjoying our morning coffee while watching the sunrise or winding down in the evening with the stunning scenery, it truly added something special to our experience. Just returned from the most fantastic 2 weeks exploring the US which included a weeks stay at Kiwi Lodge. Where to start? This was exactly as described and the perfect base for exploring Maine. The property was spotless and has all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. 3 beautiful bedrooms, 2 great sized bathrooms, wonderful living area and kitchen and fantastic games room. Hot tub was brilliant. The location on the lake is just perfect, we had the lake to ourselves and took the canoe out. Nearest town of Farmington has all the shops and cafes you’d need. The communication from Kay was great from the day we booked, and recommendations we took her up on were all absolutely spot on. Thank you Kay and thank you Kiwi Lodge for a holiday to remember!

We had a great stay for our ski weekend at Sugarloaf! Everything was just as described, clean, and comfortable. Met our needs perfectly — thank you!

If you want privacy and comfort then look no further, if this cottage is available I highly suggest you book it before someone else does, smaller footprint house but doesn’t feel that way on the inside, the kitchen is incredible and the outside area with the hot tub is worth its weight in gold, if you’re bringing dogs as well than I can’t recommend this place enough, will be back soon for sure

Our 5-star Airbnb stay in Bethel, Maine was absolutely perfect, exceeding expectations with a stunning, impeccably clean, and comfortable house in an ideal location for exploring the town and surrounding nature. The host's exceptional attention to detail, coupled with seamless communication, including comprehensive amenities, truly made our experience memorable and relaxing. We highly recommend this top-notch accommodation and eagerly anticipate a return visit.

We cozied in for a couple of days, highlights were playing board games and the hot tub on the deck. Pretty pond just steps away. The heart of the cabin is the back deck.

Great place. Doug was super responsive and everything was very straight forward. Some decent little food options a few miles down the road. The cabin and hot tub are very clean and seem to be well-maintained. Definitely worth the stay!

This place was a perfect stay for a trip to Saddleback Mountain. Very close to the town center and everything else you would need around. Had some Internet troubles do to weather, but knowing the area we planned for this well. Overall very happy with my stay and couldn't recommend this place enough.

We loved our stay!! Super Comfortable, had everything we needed, and so close to the beautiful hiking trails, literally out the back door! We especially loved all the games and the outdoor deck, and how close it was to Sugarloaf mtn. Highly recommend!!

Our family of six (12, 10, 8, and 6 y/o) couldn't have asked for a better weekend! The views from the cabin were phenomenal. After a stunning sunset on Thursday night, we enjoyed a camp fire and then stayed up late counting satellites and shooting stars. Our kids had never seen the Milky Way before and the low ambient light provided them with their first look. Friday was gem mining in town, a visit to a local apple orchard, and then apple cobbler back at the cabin. Yum! Kids enjoyed building forts in the woods, playing football out front, and our daily hikes. Cabin was very clean and all appliances worked without issues. Definitely recommend!

Jamie’s cabin was the perfect peaceful mini getaway! Situated almost half way between SugarLoaf and Sunday River- it was the perfect retreat to experience both resorts and recharge at night! We arrived to a handwritten welcome card and presents for the puppies- how sweet is that?! The beds were comfy, the shower was HOT and the washer and dryer made it so easy to vacation without having chores to come home to! Would recommend to anyone!

This was our second stay at the Sugar Shack as it’s a great spot when skiing Sugarloaf. I really appreciate the well seasoned cast iron pans instead of using scratched up and flaking nonstick ones found at most Airbnbs. There are plenty of hooks to hang your ski gear. It’s also one of the few we’ve rented where I didn’t have to wash the glasses after pulling them out of the cabinet. Clearly the cleaner is very conscientious. We will definitely book again when returning to the area.

Due to unforeseen circumstances we were unable to stay. Craig’s was diligent, kind, and helpful. I believe that when we are in not so ideal circumstances our true character surfaces and more often then not our ability to do what it right is in question. Craig rose to the occasion. Hopefully our paths will cross in the future!

This was a spectacular location, and a cozy, comfy cabin. We had a wonderful time at Scott and Adrian’s cabin. The bed and sofas were very comfortable, and the cabin was fully equipped. The view is postcard-perfect. Just a wonderful experience and we’re eager to return!

Awesome place. Super convenient key pad made getting in easy. The place was clean and cozy. Susan did a great job of communicating check in times and features of the house. 10/10 would stay there again!

Many positives to highlight with our stay at Coplin Knoll! Communication was on point and the house was expertly deisgned to strike a perfect balance between comfort, asthetic, and functionality. As an added bonus, Mother Nature delivered 4-6 inches of her best stuff, which we felt really brought out the best in this place. We are no strangers to the Sugarloaf region and while the house sits just 10 minutes from the access road, the unique coordinates allowed us to experience the area from a whole new perspective. Thank you Winter and Jay for curating such a pleasant mountainside retreat!

We had a great time at the cabin despite it raining during our ski days. Location is perfect for all that Sugarloaf has to offer. Would definitely look to stay here again!

Been here multiple times and excellent every time. Would recommend to anybody. Will rent here again in the winter summer or spring and fall l.

We loved our stay at Amanda’s place! The house was spacious yet cozy, and just what we were looking for during our getaway in the Maine woods! We will definitely return!

Chris’s place was great for our weekend stay. Close to Bethel and Black Mountain. Perfect for two people. Clean, comfortable bed, and very peaceful.
