Hekluhestar cottage at the farm

Take it easy in this tranquil accommodation in our farm, with a peaceful view ! The cottage can welcome up to 6 people, although 4 is the most comfortable. Nicely located, it is about one hour by car from Reykjavik, from the Golden circle and from Vík's black sand beaches. It is 15min away from Hella's bus station, which allows you to visit Lanmannalaugar. The farm has animals roaming around, and also offers riding tours. Its owners are always happy to share a lovely riding experience !

Cow cabin- Unique and beautiful farmstead !

The Cow cabin was the farms cowshed in the past. On the outside we preserved the old rock laying and the architecture style but mixed old and new styles on the inside. We recycle and repurpose as much material as possible while building it and we and our guests are more than satisfied with the outcome. You walk in to an open space where there is a kitchenette and pull-out sofa. Further in there is a wc with a shower and at last a beautiful and romantic dbl.room.

They are both very private though it is just a stone’s throw away from the Ring Road. The house has a small kitchen, double bed (queen size) and a bathroom with shower. There is a platform in front of the guesthouse with a heater and comfortable chairs . Guests will have access to hot tub and a outdoor barbeque.
