Relax as the sun sets on this acre and a half property of cottage gardens just 15 minutes north of Toowoomba. The countryside views await you. Wake up to the occasional misty morning view from your bedroom with uninhibited views of the valley to the west. Situated a short distance from the main residence you will enjoy privacy plus in the recently renovated cottage. Our guarantee to you is clean linen upon every visit. We do have roosters in the area and on quiet mornings you may hear them.

Dive into the serenity of this unique, off-grid tiny cabin. It’s the perfect spot to unwind, reset and take a breath. It’s a rustic gem, built from repurposed materials, saved from landfill. It’s not sleek, modern or perfect but built with love and a desire to share our off-grid lifestyle and simple farm life. We have the most amazing, relaxing, rejuvenating, outdoor wood fired bath, to soak up nature, the stars and spend time with your loved one. Of course there are cows with long horns too.

Cabin with Stunning Valley Views

Situated on a 40 acre property nestled at the base of a hill, the cabin delivers stunning views looking over the Lockyer Valley and onto the hills of Lockyer National Park. The cabin is set 100 metres away from the main house providing privacy plus easy road access & convenient parking right at the door. The side by side cabin is joined by a deck where you can enjoy the view and the incredible sunrises/sunsets whilst watching the wallabies graze. On the property is a horse and cattle.

Gumnut Cottage

Only 10 minutes from Toowoomba, this off-grid studio cottage gives you an escape in the Australian bush with all the comforts of home. We are located across a tiny creek, up a 1km winding, gravel driveway where the cottage is semi-privately set into the bush. At night, you might see the wallabies munch and bandicoots dig, and if lucky, the possums may come down from the trees for a treat. During the day you may catch sight of a lace-monitor lizard which may come running for a treat.

Chatanta Cottage - Off Grid Country Stay

Escape to our haven in the Somerset region, a short drive from Brisbane, situated on our 30 acre property. Relax and enjoy your morning coffee on the deck, soaking up the peaceful atmosphere. Unplug, and reconnect with nature in our off-grid shipping container, with outdoor bathroom, while still enjoying all the essentials, which are run off solar power. Welcome to our most recent unit which we have incorporated all the things that we as Queenslanders love. Comfortable living and dining spaces, fully functional kitchen with German appliances and beautifully comfy queen bed with attached bathroom. Most of all a private veranda facing the most beautiful Park in Toowoomba for morning coffee or anytime of the day or night really! Walk to the City and many much loved local restaurants and cafes. Perfect for a Carnival of Flowers getaway.

Escape from the hustle and bustle, and only 25 minutes west of Toowoomba. Stay in the Original Biddeston School (1919). Comfortable and cosy, cottage style accommodation with back deck and full kitchen. Our cottage also has a fireplace and 4 person spa on the deck. Come and experience the peace of country living, blanketed by the stunning night sky whilst enjoying a glass of your favourite around the open fire. We run sheep and cattle on our property and have a sheep dog called Shred.

The cottage located at the end of a Jacaranda lined driveway with sweeping country views and is only 12 minutes from The Ridge Shopping Centre, Preston Peak and Gabbinbar Wedding venues.
