The host has done a good job creating a comfortable and relaxing interior. Walking in to the home was a positive experience.

Perfect place for the family to stay on our ice fishing trip. We definitely overpacked, because the house provided pretty much all the things we packed aside from food. The beds were really comfortable and the place was very clean! The owner was responsive, helpful, and very nice. We are looking forward to staying here again!

Went to Biwabik for the weekend to go skiing at Giants Ridge. As soon as we walked in, the place was clean and neat. It looked brand new. It is a 30 second walk to the grocery store, a great pizza restaurant, and the rest of the cute downtown area. When it came time to go to Giants Ridge, it was an easy 10 minute drive. We had a wonderful experience staying in town instead of staying at the lodge at the resort. It also had lots of board games and DVD’s to watch some movies. Loved everything about this place and would recommend staying here to anyone going to the area!

Great place to stay with awesome views. We snowmobiled there and it was easy great access to the trails and lake. Hosts were very kind and checking to see if we needed anything. Would highly recommend staying at this place.

Beth’s place was a wonderful little break for us. The lake and surroundings were peaceful and beautiful and the cabin was the perfect spot for my busy family of 6! The tree swing and hammocks were a huge hit with my kids and we even braved a canoe ride with a few of them. 😂 We loved sitting out at the fire at nights and having fun s’mores. Beth was super responsive and very accommodating and had some great recommendations for fishing and local places to visit. House was very well stocked, with extras in the kitchen and bedrooms and she even had rain jackets we could use if needed! We will definitely come stay again!

This place was exactly what we needed. Lots of hiking trails nearby. Vermillion Falls was amazing.

Top notch. She was always available for questions with quick responses. Would definitely recommend and/or stay there again.

The place was perfect with everything we needed, very clean and furnished, close enough to town yet secluded enough to have privacy giving a taste of backwoods Minnesota. Perfect stay for what we desired, very cozy, excellent neighborhood, good roadways and simple directions. Absolutely saving the spot for any possible future visits to backwoods bemidji. Thank you:)

Lovely cabin. Clean linens, bathrooms, full size kitchen, living room. The fireplace in winter is an added benefit. Nice location close to Bemidji and Buena Vista ski resort. Great family get away. Though the restaurant isn't open in the winter, the pool and store have limited hours for use.

The kitchen was fantastic. Lots of appliances and space for perishabkes. Keirc, Espresso machine and drip coffee makers. The hot tub was well maintained and easy to use. TVs in almost every room. Great private lot on Lake. Would love to come back in the summer. Lisa was super fast in responding to anything but we really didn't need any questions answered during our stay. Will go back again.

Great place, location, view, amenities! Had a little issue with the keypad dying and Brian came right over and gave us a key to during our stay. Bathroom and interior doors could use a little work, but other wise nice place. Clean! Will be back!

My wife and I had an absolutely amazing stay at the Cozy cabin at Upper Red Cabins! The cabin itself is gorgeous, immaculately clean, and beautifully decorated with a perfect blend of modern touches and that classic up-north feel. The views of Upper Red Lake were breathtaking, and we loved spending time just gazing out at the winter wonderland. Snowshoeing was our favorite! And the fireplace was the perfect touch, adding warmth and a cozy ambiance that made our stay even more special. Every detail, from the décor to the amenities, was carefully thought out to create an unforgettable experience. We can’t wait to come back! Anthony & William were fantastic hosts. They were extremely helpful and very friendly.

We were very pleased with our stay. The cabin is adorable with plenty of space around it. After reading a few reviews about the train tracks being so close I was a little concerned about safety and noise. Once we arrived I noticed that safety was not an issue as a river (stream) is located between the property and the tracks. The train runs through frequently but it didn't have a negative impact on our stay and we live in the country with no trains. Randy was very pleasant to work with and I can't say enough good things about our stay. it was a perfect fit!

We had a wonderful stay at The Hideaway! We drove up from Mississippi for a white Christmas and spent most of our time ice skating on the lake, reading, and playing board games. The cabin was cozy and had everything we needed for a relaxing family vacation: books, games, puzzles, the lake, even extra dog bags for clean up. My oldest went ice fishing a few times. As an amateur baker, I loved that the kitchen had things like bread pans, a pastry blender, a dough scraper, etc. It made the Christmas and New Year’s baking of delicious breads and desserts much easier. Highly recommend and considering another stay this summer!

Wonderful stay. Very peaceful and quiet. Far enough from the world to disconnect yet close enough to everything. Loved watching the deer. Can't wait to come back.

This house was the perfect hub for nature exploration in Koochiching and Superior National Forest! It was very clean, cozy and quite luxurious compared to other accommodations we’ve stayed at in the area, but still reasonably priced for 3 bedrooms. Appreciated the host being quick to respond and flexible with our dates.

Great cabin and great service. The place is amazing, the cabin is dreamy. If you like an adventure in the northern woods, like to fish, hunt or hike this is the place to be. Annette was fantastic and super communicative and responsive.
