The place was welcoming, spotlessly clean, well-equipped, and comfortable. This was important because we intended to stay in a lot and enjoy home cooked meals. The place felt homely and, with some basic provisions, we could settle in right away. The kitchen crockery, pots, pans etc were all clean and in excellent condition. There was plenty of choice for lounging and dining areas, with an indoor or more outdoor feel, and the surrounding natural landscape made for a beautiful and peaceful escape. Loved the outdoor swing between the tall trees which invited you to go outside. The seating around the grand firepit was excellent with beautiful decorative lighting. When the outdoor lights were off, we enjoyed expansive views of the Milky Way, by the fire. Additionally, we thought the host's dining recommendations in Ballarat and Daylesford were excellent, as was his communication. The getaway was just what we'd had in mind.

Enjoyed every minute of our stay Beautiful view Peaceful and lots of privacy We were lucky enough to have both warm and cold weather So we got to enjoy the fireplace and pizza oven and fire pit The animals were fun even when the lamas were spitting on us!!! We saw eagles kangaroos and even deer and foxes so was exciting The house was very well equipped and we had everything we needed to use. Even home made treats which was lovely We will definitely stay here again Carolyn

Had a most wonderful stay here - the pictures don't do it justice! The space is absolutely amazing with huge windows looking out into gorgeous bush and the rock formations in the distance. It was peaceful, full of wildlife and an incredibly lovely space to spend a weekend, we definitely wanted to stay longer! Kitchen was well equipped, and had a spacious fridge for lots of people's groceries. We made use of the outdoor dining area which was divine to spend mornings and afternoons, and the living room, though looking small, easily accommodated 5 adults for movie nights 😊 Jane was responsive and graciously allowed us a later check-out, and was there for any questions we had. The only thing that could have slightly been improved was the cleanliness, the bed quilts a bit dirty and the house a bit dusty, but nothing that got in the way of our stay overall.

We found this gem on short notice as we wanted to spend New Years at Daylesford with our dog. It was just the perfect place for my husband, me and our fur baby. It’s located right near the shops and you get your own private access to the Lake so I was able to spend each morning going for a run. Such a beautiful place! Just be mindful of the insects but you are staying by the lake, so just bring some repellent and you’ll be fine. Thank you again for hosting us, Sally!

Elle was a lovely host, super welcoming and helpful to chat to. The home was cosy, clean and with a modern bathroom, oven, smart tvs and a big bed, it was the perfect stay! The location is a very short walk to the Main Street while being private and quiet, with a short drive out to the incredible walks and views the Grampians have to offer!

At Alan's property was fantastic. It was clean, spacious, in a great location, and Alan was always quick to respond to any message. Thank you very much!

Our stay at Adam and Peps was the best Airbnb we’ve ever stayed in and all 5 of us agreed! It was an absolutely beautiful place with heaps of room, very clean and tidy, and the hot tub and outdoor fire pit was a highlight! The beautiful vineyard and scenery around made us not want to leave to go on the amazing hikes around the Grampians which were all a very close drive away! It was private and extremely good value. Adam was super responsive with any questions and willing to help out with suggestions if needed. We are already planning when we can come back next! Highly recommend!
