White water rafting and other river sports are within walking distance as well as a natural spring swimming pool which is open in the summer. There are a number of good restaurants within walking distance too and the famous wine producing town of Limoux is a 10 minute drive away. There is a tourist office in the town.

Chalet Salamandre

Geniet van de rust, het uitzicht en het comfort van dit stijlvolle chalet. Zeer geschikt als romantisch uitje of even bijkomen in de natuur met je gezin. Wij zitten op 650 meter hoogte, in een hete zomer is het altijd iets koeler dan in het dal en met een briesje, heel aangenaam. In de nacht koelt het meer af en is het lekker slapen. Een airco hebben wij niet nodig. Honden zijn welkom, € 15 per verblijf. Voor de winter is er een houtkachel. Wij leveren een kruiwagen met stookhout voor €15.

Notre gite vous permettra de découvrir cette magnifique région entre mer et montagne. Idéal pour une famille aimant les randonnées pédestre, équestre , VTT, ainsi que, baignades et pêche ( lacs de Montbel et de Puivert) à 15mn. Accés tous commerces, location vélos éléctriques à 4km au village de Chalabre.

Sliding glass doors open onto your private terrace, with table and chairs for eating outdoors, and sun-deck to relax on.
