This was such a luxury. This cave house was just as described. It was the best shower, the best sleep, the best comfort I have had in my long tour of Italy. Daniella, the host, was so responsive and accomodating, making sure we had everything we needed. I'd recommend this space to anyone I know. If we are fortunate enough to visit this magical city again, this is the home I would choose.

Teresa est une personne adorable et très attentive à notre bien être. Nous avons séjourné une seule nuit, le logement était très confortable. On ne manquait de rien.

Small apartment with everything you need for a couple of days. Ideal for a couple or friends. We loved the terrace. Best view in the city. We enjoyed our evenings there very much. The place is really easy to find and you are 10 minutes of walking to most of the attractions or restaurants.

Fijn om zo midden in Matera te verblijven, je loopt gemakkelijk naar alle bezienswaardigheden. het is een ruime mooie accommodatie.

Ci siamo trovate, veramente molto bene a casa di Alessandro, la comunicazione con lui è sempre stata molto facile! la casa è davvero molto gradevole e comodissima per visitare i Sassi di Matera. È andato tutto benissimo, ma un complimento speciale al nostro host che ha saputo essere immediatamente d aiuto in una situazione indipendente dalla volontà sua e nostra ! Grazie Consiglio questa casa in ogni suo aspetto!

Absolutely fabulous location and lovely place to stay ! We were completely wowed by Matera in general and the location and views were incredible . Loved our stay and wished could stay longer …have made a promise to myself I will go back ! The apartment was truely beautiful and we appreciated the little touches of yoghurt cake and juice which we had on the balcony for breakfast before we left. Many Thanks !

Me encantó quedarme en este alojamiento. El lugar está decorado y tiene muebles increíbles (me encanta el ambiente que dan todas las lamparas), denota que se han cuidado los detalles. Patrizia me indicó perfectamente como llegar y aunque hay que bajar unas escaleras, pronto te das cuenta que son pocas para el estándar de Matera. La vista que tiene es inigualable y la facilidad con la que puedes llegar a los diferentes puntos de la ciudad histórica me facilito conocer a fondo Matera. Había muchas cosas para poder desayunar o tener un snack, algo que se aprecia mucho. El espacio de Patrizia aportó en gran medida a lo mucho que disfruté Matera

a magnificent historic property fully modernized. immediate parking. perfectly centered and walkable everywhere, pharmacy, dentist, city hall and of course the Patisseries and fabulous restaurants. Fabi is a gracious and responsive host. I'll be back for certain.

Appartamento confortevole, pulito a due passi dai sassi. Ottimo punto di appoggio per girare Matera, Carmelita è super disponibile e fornisce moltissime informazioni, risponde immediatamente a qualsiasi richiesta. in un prossimo soggiorno a Matera torneremo quì.

Appartement très bien situé a proximité du centre ville sans être dans le centre touristique. nous avons pu nous garer sans problème dans la rue. on était comme a la maison..avec deux salles de bain, le luxe!

Grazie a Marianna per la sua ospitalità e cordialità, l'appartamento è estremamente pulito, zona tranquilla con tutti i comfort. Marianna coccola i suoi ospiti, lasciando a disposizione una cucina funzionale, un bagno comodo e la zona living molto grande. A disposizione ci sono due camere, una ricavata da un soppalco ma molto suggestiva con questi muri di pietra tipica della zona di Matera. Marianna è stata un'ottima Host, sempre molto attenta alle nostre esigenze.

Tutto perfetto! Una casa molto accogliente con una luce e una vista spettacolari. Quando capiteró qui per lavoro o per vacanza sicuramente torneró da Michela!

We had a great stay in Matera. Mikele and Nicola’s place is easy walking distance to Sassi, and to great restaurants. We’ve stayed in many airbnb and this was, without a doubt, the best equipped when everything you could need, including a plentiful assortment of food, coffee, tea, fruits and drinks. Check in was so easy - Mikele found free parking for us nearby and helped carry our suitcases up to the unit. He was friendly , helpful and proactive with restaurant recommendations. He showed us how to make coffee and provided a helpful tour of the unit. We’d stay there again in a heartbeat.

Great location. Everything is walkable including the main attraction, Sissi! Place was clean. Host gave great instructions and gave us some good recommendations.

Erg fijne plek om Matera en omgeving te ontdekken. Je loopt zo de oude binnenstad in, maar het appartement is toch rustig gelegen. Heerlijke bedden! Het ontbijt dat klaarstond was een fijne verrassing en uitgebreid (toast, beleg, zoete cake, Nespresso koffie en drankjes in de koelkast. Wat een service! Parkeren is lastig in het drukke Matera, dus de prive parkeerplek voor de deur is ook een erg fijne extra service bij dit appartement. Een echte aanrader!

The 1er Grand Cru of airbnb. In Te Reo Maori has a word to describe care and hospitality, being manaakitanga. Pasquale has this with a strong commitment to his craft of hosting. He spent time orienting us with the area and provided a generous selection of local delicacies. An unobtrusive host with a meticulously appointed property. The place was clean and cozy. The host was responsive and made everything easy for us. We also appreciated the free street parking right in front of the property.

Absolutely stunning location, beautiful home with all of the needed utilities. The view is breathtaking and we loved the view. The walk to the other side of the valley is at the bottom of the steps. Vincenza also booked us a taxi to make the trip to the car easier. Cannot recommend enough. Thank you!

Very friendly, warm host Paolo made us feel at home from the beginning. Spotless appartement in quiet area near centro. Appartement had everything we needed. Perfect!
