Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Sparrow’s Worth is a quaint cottage filled with reclaimed floors and staircase from an 1860’s Virginia farmhouse. The upstairs bedroom welcomes you with mix of old and repurposed furniture. The small attached bath has a raised toilet and a shower. Notice the old radio from Baltimore, MD converted to a vanity. There is plenty of natural light for reading, and blackout drapes for resting. Refrigerator, stove, toaster oven, table, Fire TV, WiFi.

A peaceful, quiet, and cozy home on 36 acres of beautiful land that rests just 5 minutes from Hampden-Sydney College and 10 minutes from Longwood University. Recently renovated using wood cut from the property and farmhouse style decor (Joanna Gaines inspired), this home is the perfect place to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

One bedroom, basement apartment in well kept house. The apartment is furnished with antiques and set on the corner of a farm with good views. The apartment has a private entrance and parking just outside the door. We are a retired but active couple who live upstairs. The kitchen has a Keurig coffee maker and is stocked with coffee, tea, coffee fixings, snacks, and light breakfast items. We are 25 minutes to downtown Lynchburg and 20 minutes to Appomattox.
