There is nothing more frustrating than not being able to have a decent shower while you are on vacation. That was absolutely not the case here. The hot water and water pressure in both bathrooms was exceptional. This is a great place in a great area. We will definitely try to get back here.

This is a wonderful place to stay if you are visiting UConn or the surrounding area. Keri and Jason were fabulous hosts and very responsive to my needs. Keri even anticipated needs by offering to have a fresh cup of coffee ready for me on the AM. Everything was perfect for my stay and there was definitely a comfortable feel. I will definitely be staying here in the future.

This was my second time staying at Tracy and Patrick’s home. My group was very pleased and it exceeded their expectations. Can’t wait to go back.

My husband and I stayed with our 19-month-old son for three nights and it was a perfect choice! Susan had a toys and books that he loved, as well as a sandbox and pool outside - and the home was stocked with everything we needed for our stay. We used the location as a jumping off point for other activities and then had quiet afternoons at the house while my husband rode his bike (we saw lots of other cyclists!). If you are vegan or vegetarian, check out the Shoreline Diner in Guilford - it was delicious.

We had a wonderful stay at Jennifer’s place. It was.l beautiful, immaculate, and incredibly well equipped—especially for kids with the plethora of games and toys. Jennifer was responsive and a great host. The house is on a serene, dead-end street, and outdoor area is perfect for kids.

Sort of magical old house, dripping with character and quirks. Great stove and grill and a big dining room Gori Cooking and gathering. Super nice hosts. Nice walk to a nice park nearby. We really enjoyed being there. If you have a reason to be in Norwich, this is a cool place!

I can’t say enough wonderful things about this incredible home! Surrounded by peaceful woods with snow on the ground, many birds, and the occasional deer wandering by, I felt completely connected to nature. It was the perfect winter getaway I needed from the city. The house was impeccably clean with all the essentials - a well stocked kitchen, an impressive vinyl collection and sound system, and a variety of interesting books and magazines throughout. There’s also a generous-sized TV with all my favorite streaming services, making it easy to unwind and enjoy my downtime. This home brought back fond memories of a lake cabin I spent many summers at but with a much more chic, spacious, and cozy vibe. With it's warm wood finishes and large windows that filled the rooms with sunlight, it perfectly blends nostalgia with modern comfort. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone seeking a serene escape!

The home was absolutely gorgeous and peaceful. It's exactly as described but even more spacious than I expected. They put a lot into making guests feel welcome, including prompt communication, a quick walk through to explain where things are, numerous suggestions for the surrounding area, and even a tray of welcome cookies! I came for a 50k trail race, so the hot tub was a perfect added bonus. I HIGHLY suggest booking this property, and I'll definitely be back to spend some time at the beach.

Was the perfect little get away for us. And it was nice to find a place that accommodated the dogs so well. We appreciated being able to get to places easily but at the same time have a peaceful place to return to.

Brian was a great host, he was flexible and quick to respond. The home was nice and comfortable. There was a small issue with one of the bathrooms but no big deal. I brought to his attention just for awareness and he was apologetic. We enjoyed the home. I cook alot and the kitchen had what i needed except for things to use in oven and kitchen towels but otherwise well stocked. Great stay

The Landing was perfect for our weekend getaway. We stayed during the quiet season and felt like we were the only ones around. The house is designed to maximize the view of the water from where ever you are. Our weather was rainy and cold but we stayed cozy and warm by the fire. Being able to bring our older dog was a plus. With clear instructions and everything we needed in the house, we did not have to reach out to John much, but when we did, he was prompt and helpful. We would definitely rent again!

This was a fabulous destination! We were looking for a big place to have a special anniversary party weekend with extended family, and this house had everything we needed. Plenty of bedrooms upstairs and first floor, many common gathering areas, large kitchen and dining room tables, and lots of Space. (And this doesn't even include the explorable property outside.) The dozens of photos in the listing were very helpful, as well as the detailed descriptions. We had specific needs for elderly relatives with disabilities, and owner Lynne was so responsive in her replies to my many messages with varied questions. Truly, Lynne, you deserve a gold star from Airbnb for promptness and offering up ways and help that made our stay both easier and fulfilling.

Great Gull property is amazing! We loved staying at this seaside inspired home. The thoughtful design reflected the area, and the location was amazing—5 minutes away from the aquarium, walkable to restaurants, and near historic downtown too. We loved the lake just steps away from the house, and were pleasantly surprised that they provided kayaks and bikes too! We also didn’t realize there was a little cottage in the back with bunks and a bathroom—my kids loved staying in here! This was a fun treat. Everything about the house was so comfortable and well stocked and furnished. Thank you for being a great host!

We enjoyed staying at Nancy’s place, it was super comfortable and our dog loved it too! There was plenty of space to walk our dog and we really enjoyed watching the animals from the back porch!

Cabin on Little River met our expectations and more. Myself, 2 sisters and my daughter wanted a quiet getaway. A charming open concept post and beam, pine floors and wood trim, woodstove for winter, deck with charcoal grill. It's very rural and IN the woods ( so bring bug repellant). Even though the host's home is visible you still feel tucked away. Kitchen and bath are modern and clean and the beds and livingroom were very comfortable. The soothing sound of the river is always present. It was relaxing to sit down in the adirondack chairs near its bank. The woods provide a place to walk. Lake is across the road. Glenn informed us of several events nearby that we were really interested in...but we never felt like leaving the cabin! There's a big firepit nearby and wood provided. Glenn is a wonderful host. A fellow artist, I asked to see his studio on the ground level. Even bought a couple small paintings. Do not hesitate to book this place if you are looking for a quiet respite!

I will book again and again. The comfort of the bed and shower was fantastic. The appliances were updated and I will recommend this little piece of solitude Heaven. It’s like a wee nature refuge and Perfect location. The hosts were attentive and kind. A million thanks!

This place is perfect for a large group with lots of queen size beds. Easy walk to Ocean beach.

This home was clean and beautiful. Beds are super comfortable kitchen is fully stocked. The list of recommendations on what to do locally was also super helpful Our favorite part was the game room. We did karaoke with the kids hands loads of fun playing pool against my husband the outdoor space was also huge. I can’t wait to book this home again as my son calls it a 2nd home

I fell in love with this apartment, the living room, kitchen, bathroom and bedroom were excellent, very cozy and endless amenities, the only complaint I have is the ceiling of the room but it is understandable and is not a big deal and they did not tell us where to put the garbage so we had to leave it in front of the door in the garage but other than that a very good experience in this beautiful place, I recommend it!

This was our first time at the Barn. There were 8 of us. We had plenty of room. Plenty of parking. MaryBeth and Doug are extremely friendly. We enjoyed hearing about the history of the Barn. Will definitely book there again next year.

We had a lovely stay at Eric's home. The home exceeded our expectations and we felt right at home. The decor was warm and inviting. Everything you could possibly need was in the stunning, modern kitchen. The beds were all comfortable and we slept very well. The property was very peaceful. We enjoyed seeing deer, turkeys and hawks each day. The fixtures in the home were modern, clean and high-end. It was great being so close to Greenport with it's wonderful restaurants and shops. We can't wait to return.

The location was great and a nice place to walk. Lots of stuff to see and do that’s not far away. We would come again.
