We had a great time here! Everything was as described, very clean and Gail was very responsive. The space was warm and cozy, perfect after a soggy walk around the Brecon Beacons!!

Had a really love couple of nights with a group of friends over New Years Eve. Margaret was really helpful, she met us when we arrived and showed us around the house so we knew where everything was. The place is huge so that was really helpful. It looks just like the photos and is in a really lovely place, we could see horses out of our window and at night the stars were really bright. It was a perfect countryside escape and really well suited to a big group of people.

Wonderful long weekend at Flagstone Cottage, the most peaceful place we’ve ever been, no car noises whatsoever and beautiful scenery. Cottage was exactly as described. We asked for the BBQ to come back out and Clare actually brought out all the outside furniture for us to use which was a nice surprise when we got back from our day trip. Our 5yo daughter loved the mezzanine bedroom and being able to have multiple baths a day (we only have a shower at home). The walk from Llanthony Priory up Hatterhall hill is amazing and the pint in the priory grounds at the end was very scenic and rewarding! Hay-On-Wye is well worth a visit, Abergavenny also.

We spent the bank holiday weekend at the Granary. The Granary is well-equipped with everything we needed. Bez was very helpful and responsive to our needs. The view is outstanding from the Granary. The surrounding area is lovely and we were able to do some walks directly from the house. Highly recommended

The whole idea of the stay we was wanted was to escape, and that we did. It was incredible to be able to wake up to incredible views and scenery. Everything that was described and photos are exactly as they are, if anything don’t do it enough justice.. if you haven’t been, you are truly missing out on this incredible stay..!! We will be back !!!!

Staying at Cae’r Beili in April was magical. Meryl was friendly and warm as she introduced us to the beautiful converted barn. The air was full of the sounds of sheep and their lambs with easy viewing from the lovely glass-enclosed sunroom. Looking out across the Carmarthenshire hills is a soothing experience and we enjoyed a long walk through the fields to the waterfall and back. The accommodations worked very well for our family (two children and four adults, one with limited mobility). If you want to experience the heart of rural Wales I highly recommend coming to Cae'r Beili - you may experience a little "hiraeth" after you return home.

We really enjoyed our stay at Judith's. The Barn was cosy and tastefully decorated. We enjoyed being so close to nature. The bed was super comfortable and we slept so well! Thank you, Judith for the lovely stay!

An amazing stay for my girlfriends birthday, Graham was a brilliant and friendly host with lots of helpful knowledge about the surrounding area, could not fault our stay, will definitely be returning!

Such a lovely private spacious house and garden. A great set up for a break away with our extended family. Plenty of room to get together to cook, eat and socialise, then split off for some more quiet time when needed. Everything was clean and tidy, and we had all we needed. A beautiful location and very near to hay on wye which is worth a visit. Only slight downside is that the internet wasn’t brilliant, but that’s to be expected in the middle of the countryside and also meant we weren’t sat on our phones scrolling too much! The internet did work, just not super fast. Definitely recommend, and we’ll be looking to book again.

We loved our stay at Hannah's place. Lovely home, perfect for our family. The house is well set up with everything you'd need and really clean and tidy. Lots of things for our 2 year old daughter to do and play with and really safe for her too, stair gates, enclosed private yard etc. Hannah was very helpful with directions and providing things we asked for like a high chair and cot. The location is really peaceful and quiet and was perfectly situated to get to loads of great walks and other activities in the Beacons and surrounding areas. We would recommend staying here if you are planning a trip to the region.

What a place. Fantastic property with everything to make it a home from home. The property is better than the pictures, the location is wonderful and the hosts couldn’t be more attentive. Communication spot even, even as a last minute booking.

Lovely barn conversion with stunning views and so peaceful. The barn is perfectly equipped with everything you need and Vera is quick to respond and very helpful.

Had a wonderful 2 night stay with friends and it was more than enough space! Had everything we needed, really clean with some extra nice touches like blankets dotted around and wine on arrival! Easy to check in and added bonus of being asked if we’d like to feed the lambs which we did! Would 100% come again!

Gemma was an incredible host, she gave us a huge list of great recommendations in the local area which was really helpful. She was super friendly and communicative and made the stay so stress free and wonderful. The place was even better than we thought it would be. It was so cosy and well equipped. The bathroom was huge and clean. Everything you could ever need was within 10 minutes by car and plenty was easily walkable. Highly recommend! :)

We had a gorgeous stay at Alastair’s! The cottage and surrounding scenery are something from a novel, it was so peaceful and tranquil to spend time there. Super close to all the main walks and with excellent doorstep trails too. Alastair was incredibly responsive and helpful during our stay - he was so kind as to offer us bottles of his homemade apple juice after we had been wanting to take home gallons with us! Could not recommend highly enough, would stay again in a heartbeat.

The property is quirky and peaceful and above all... Wonderful.... A place where we heard cuckoos every day, saw red kites, Rheidol Railway passing by, walked in beautiful oak woodland, finding secret waterfalls, experiencing breton music in nearby Aberystwyth, wild swimming (even a natural if cold jacuzzi as it was the river!), chickens and cats... I'm going to run out of words but for those who love genuine peace and clean air and don't need huge TVs this is for you! To top it all... Alice and Louise are beautiful souls who go the extra mile to make things comfy. This holiday might just have changed something in us. Maybe for you too! Recommended very highly!

absolutely beautiful cottage. really enjoyed our girls weekend. all the extra touches make it fabulous for your stay. Comfy beds, fully equipped perfect for hay- on -wye. so much nature. loved sitting out watching the birds and bats. we will be back.

We had a wonderful stay at the barn. Lots of room for us, a family of six adults. Comfy beds, great shower with lots of hot water for us all to shower after being on the river all day. Kitchen was very well equipped too. Would definitely come back.

Well what can I say, the week here has been the most peaceful get away. Sue greeted us when we arrived and made sure everything was perfect for our stay, even offering to bake us a cake (we had 2) . The house was perfect for our holiday, big dining table with amazing views and the weather was perfect to make use of the large area outside. We went for walks around their land, met the sheep, ducks and goats. Good recommendations for local pubs etc and it has been the perfect, peaceful getaway for all of us. Can HIGHLY recommend and I hope to be back again in the future.
