We had an absolutely fantastic time staying at Broken Spoke Ranch! From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations. The communication with was smooth and prompt, making the booking process hassle-free. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted and given a thorough tour of the property. The space was clean and beautifully decorated, providing a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The amenities provided were top-notch, ensuring that we had everything we needed for a comfortable (and warm) stay. The location was perfect, with a gorgeous view of the pond and countryside. We enjoyed exploring the property and saying hello to the donkeys and ponies nearby. Overall, our experience was amazing! Thank you for such a memorable stay—we will definitely be back!

Very clean, nice place. There are many gravel roads in Iowa, which we didn't realize and had to go extra slow. Also, waze gave us the directions that included more gravel roads. We did find a better route. We did INDYCAR races in Newton and it's about a 35 min drive each way, but not many other options. Fine place, just middle of the country.

We absolutely loved spending some time at this charming home!! Everything was clean, well organized, peaceful and full of character. We only wish we would have had more time to spend in Grinnell! Magical poolside cabin with a super comfy bed and everything you will need. Be sure to check out the rooftop deck festooned with twinkly lights—and get your zzzzs in the super comfy bed. Great hosts, beautiful place—loved it!

We had a great stay at the cottage, felt right at home. Had games for the kids and use of everything we needed for our stay. Even went bowling 5 mins away. Beautiful lake with lots of birds to watch. The cottage is not musty or damp at all, which is very important to us. Host was friendly and responsive.

The house was exactly as described and worked perfectly for our trip! It was clean and there were lots of extras to enjoy. The best part was definitely the patio and view! Thank you!
