The Indigo Windmill was an experience to remember. Andrea is an extremely generous and gracious host. The accommodations were incredibly well thought out and had every convenience I could have asked for. The outdoor area is incredible and well equipped so I didn't have to carry things down to it. A couple of my friends from Lisbon joined for a day and we had more that enough room to enjoy. They were beside themselves when they saw it. The spa was hot and clean. The bike rental is convenient and the lit path to the beach is a gem. The town itself boasts convenient markets, great food, and a quiet easy attitude that made me feel right at home right away. Andrea checked in with me, offered suggestions, and had a great personable way about him. It is easy to make memories in such a wonderful space and I am grateful that Andrea chose to share it with me.

Wonderful place to stay with family, children especially would find the place delightful, with old parts of the mill decorating the front yard and providing an interesting diversion for the kids. Place is thoughtfully constructed and furnished by superb hosts Nuno and Cristiana. Would recommend without hesitation.

Staying in a windmill was an exciting and unique experience. Everything was great and as described. I stayed with my family (two kids 4 and 6) and found the building appropriate and safe (although some may find the guardrails and stair railings not safe for younger kids because of the larger gaps). We enjoyed the decor, beds were comfortable, and it had everything for our one night stay. Space heaters provided enough warmth overnight in April. The breakfast was a huge bonus and a delight. It was your typical European breakfast. The building was surrounded by large hedge providing plenty of privacy. Location wise, it was about a 10 min drive to Peniche and the local beaches. Philipe was supper responsive and proactive with his communication. I would stay here again.

Super friendly welcome, great garden and pool area. We stayed at the windmill, which has a unique atmosphere, but not much space for luggage. There is a little annexe with a table, perfect for a candle light dinner.

O espaço é lindíssimo, muito bem recuperado, com todas as comodidades necessárias para uns dias fora da cidade. Tivemos o máximo conforto durante o fim-de-semana, e o cãozinho também. Os anfitriões responderam sempre às minhas mensagens, sempre claros e amáveis.

5 étoiles car je ne peux pas en mettre plus mais le logement et l’hôte en méritent en réalité bien plus ! Séjour très agréable, hôte vraiment accueillant. Après avoir expérimenté de nombreux Airbnb, j’affirme que celui d’Ana et Rute était de loin le meilleur. Le moulin est parfaitement équipé, en plus Ana nous a accueilli en nous offrant bien plus que ce qu’on attend dans un Airbnb. L’infrastructure est bien pensée et à refaire, nous serions restés plus longtemps que cinq nuits car c’était très agréable de séjourner dans ce charmant moulin. L’hôte est très disponible et nous a recommandé de bonnes adresses. Ses petites attentions nous ont fait nous sentir comme à la maison ! Emplacement parfait ; calme mais proche de toute commodité. Facilité d’accès en voiture et à pied.

The Ligeiro windmill is an absolute treasure, and was a highlight of our vacation. The drive there and surrounding area is beautiful, and the windmill was a very cozy accomodation.
