We're proud to present you with this cosy Nest right next to the Lisbon Cathedral (we call it "Sé de Lisboa") and Baixa downtown! Fully refurbished and re-decorated in March 2018, this NEST offers a spacious living & dining room (with a small sofa-bed - good enough for an adult or even two children) and the huge window (the NEST's high ceilings allow for that...) offers good views to Lisbon´s old downtown area (“Baixa”) and a nice area to enjoy some quality time over a glass of wine or beer or just relaxing after a long day of making the most of the city outside. The stylish and comfy private bedroom is a perfect fit for couples. A fully equipped kitchen (oven, stove, microwave, espresso machine, water kettle, toaster, washing machine, dishwasher, you name it…) is at your disposal, as well as a spacious bathtub bathroom with guaranteed trouble-free water pressure. Apart from all of this the flat is also equipped with a fast WIFI connection and Smart TV (100+ channels), so just grab a seat at the huge sofa and watch a movie / tv series logging in the TV to your preferred account. And last, but not the least, are you concerned about the weather outside, and whether the flat will be too hot or too cold? No worries, we’ve got top quality super silent air conditioning (hot and cold) to make sure you always feel comfy, regardless of whether it’s Summer or Winter. Did we also mention the perfect location of our NEST? Indeed it is, as you will find our NEST right next to the Lisbon Cathedral (Sé) and historical 28 electric tram stop. Within just a few minutes walking distance you will reach Praça do Comércio, Rua Augusta, Elevador Sta Justa (all within 5 min), and also Chiado, Rossio, Av. Liberdade, S. Jorge Castle, Alfama and Graça neighbourhoods (all between 10 to 15 min), and so many other city attractions... Does all of this sound interesting??? Come and check it out!!! Our NEST is located in an 18th century building so typical of Lisbon's downtown area. As such, there's no lift / elevator, which means you will need to take the stairs (it's a 3rd floor). In any case, think on the positive side: this is just a small flavour to get you used to the 7 Hills City :) (probably you've already heard that this is one of the so many names Lisbon is known by...). And we guarantee the views from upstairs will be totally worth it!!! Rest assured that one of our priorities is to make sure our guests have no troubles whatsoever arriving to the flat, and for us it's super important to be available to welcome you during the check-in proceedings, and making sure we leave you with no questions pending to be answered (apart from giving you our top tips on places to visit, to drink & eat, or whatever else you might be interested in...). We want to make sure you have a great time at our amazing city, so we'll do our best to help you out. Nest@Lisbon – Nest with Us! Nest is in a fantastic location making it easy to walk throughout the city. Take a tour of the Lisbon Cathedral less than 100 meters away, and head to the excellent selection of bars, shops, and restaurants in the area. If you're coming by plane to the Lisbon Airport (relatively close to the city centre), there are pretty much 3 options: (1)Taking a taxi / Uber: A good option is taking a Uber/Cabify (cheaper than the typical taxis). Please consider that Uber/Cabify drivers usually pick customers up at the Departures area (not Arrivals) at a Parking lot called "Kiss & Fly" - takes roughly 20/25 minutes to arrive to the flat (of course, dependent on traffic). (2)Via private transfer (journey will cost 30€ – you should pay the driver in cash): This is the most comfortable option, and if you'd like, we can help out arranging a private transfer with one of our partners to take you directly from the airport to the Nest – the driver would be waiting for you at the Arrivals area with a board with your name written. Please, try let us know about 48h in advance if indeed you’d like to hire a private transfer. (3)Alternative option is to take the subway / tube: •From stop "Aeroporto" to "Terreiro do Paço" (you need to change from Red Line to Blue Line at stop "São Sebastião"), and from there you'll be within 5 min walking distance to the Nest (whole journey will take roughly 45 min). If you're traveling by car and you need a parking space, we recommend probably using one of the nearby underground parking lots, as the streets are quite busy and it can be a bit difficult to park near the flat. If you do find it difficult, some options to park your car are the following places: •"Parque do Mercado Chão de Loureiro", about 0,4 km / 5 minutes walking to the flat (it will cost you around 20€ / 24h). •"Parque de Estacionamento Praça do Município", about 0,5 km / 7 minutes walking to the flat (it will cost you around 32€ / 24h). •"Parque de Estacionamento Praça Figueira", about 0,7 km / 9 minutes walking to the flat (it will cost you around 35€ / 24h). Apart from some exceptional situations, we're pretty sure we'll be there face to face to welcome you get on with the check in procedures. Nonetheless, our NEST is prepared for self check-in (we've got door codes for the building and the flat) for those rare situations when we will not be able to welcome you face to face. And we're always super flexible when it comes to early check-ins or late check-outs (free of charge), as long as the NEST isn't occupied by someone else.

Be careful, you may fall in love with it too! About the house: it's a BEAUTIFUL 60 sqm apartment in the 2nd floor of a 2 floor building. The apartment was fully renovated in June 2017 (BRAND NEW). It's modern, comfortable and cosy, and will allow you to enjoy Lisbon's mythic light! It's ideal for a couple. Spacious living room equipped with 32'' smart TV and comfortable separate bedroom with 160cm wide double bed. Air conditioning in both living room and bedroom and high speed Wi-Fi. Linen and towels are provided. Kitchen is well equipped with nespresso machine, toaster, electric jug, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, etc. Basics to cook like olive oil, vinegar, salt and sugar are also available. There is an iron and ironing board as well. In the bathroom, you’ll find a hair dryer (a nice one :)), toilet paper and shower gel. The flat was fully decorated by me and my husband Ricky and we manage it ourserlves. We stay reachable during all your stay. :) The apartment is in an area that's full of history and truly represents the heart of traditional Lisbon. Stroll around its narrow streets to discover little cafes, restaurants, Fado houses, and trendy shops that make up this vibrant neighborhood. A stop for the 28 Tram is just 4min away and Santa Apolónia (metro and train station) and Terreiro do Paço (metro station) are both a 7 min walk from the house. The street is in a limited traffic zone - only taxis and residents can enter. If you wish to come by car, you can park at Largo Terreiro do Trigo, less then 100m from the building. Transfers between the airport and the apartment it’s as extra service - please let us know if are interested. A baby cot is available upon request - please let us know if you'll need it. The Popular Saints Festival is celebrated throughout June in Portugal. The festival in Lisbon is celebrated primarily on the 12th and 13th of June, in memory of Saint Anthony. Across Lisbon's historical neighborhoods you will see colorful decorations, food stalls and live stages to listen to music. As we are situated in the heart of Alfama, during the month of June, specially the 12th, more animation is expected in the streets that surround the apartment and the area will be much more crowded and noisy during this day.

Seafront Cottage near Sintra

Breathe the salty air over alfresco dinners at the water's edge at a restored 1940 retreat with 360-degree views. Nestled in 40,000 square meters of grounds, this homey heaven combines nautical accents with smooth stone and chunky wooden furniture. Surf Rental complete equipment is possible or surf lessons, by previous appointment. An electric car or a 9 seat Van VW Caravelle is available for rental by request, with excellent conditions, pick up in Sintra or at Lisbon airport. Very cosy and warm with a lightfire in the living room. The house has one small bedroom with a double bed and other room "Kind of a boat" with a 3 store bed (sleep 4 children). The outside of this house include an exterior shower (hot/cold water), a barbecue, a small tank and and a big table. Go from sintra about 12 km to Magoito beach (Praia do Magoito). When you arrive in Magoito go all the way down to the beach and pass the fortress by the sea. Turn right and you will see the last two white houses. You're there! All the information for an unforgettable stay at the magoito seacliff houses; places to visit, restaurants, sugestions etc. When required, we can make it happen! A personalized special fishing and surfing tour, only for wild, top and "out of the box " adventures. We can also provide surfing equipment and drive you on a Jeep if it pleases you (fee 100eur/day/guest) Experience the beauty and wildness of this place, surrounded by wild beaches and just 12 km from historic, picturesque Sintra. The property is located at an excellent fishing point called Ponta do Caneiro. Just 12 km from sintra center (vila) "the Portuguese Environment Agency is finishing the recovery of the cliff, located in front of the house, between 50 and 100 meters. There are no noisy works anymore but only a fence in the cliff. The works started last July 2017 and will be totally finished and removed in April 2018" The location of this houses are unique, and the environment did not change much since 1950. This typical fisherman's house, with 30m2, was rehabilitated in 2017, and now have: - Kitchen equipped with dishwasher, clothes and refrigerator, dining table and 2 chairs. - Living room with a comfortable sofa, TV, WI-FI. - WC with shower. - Mezzanine, with a access staircase, with double bed (160cmx180cm), writing desk and a charriot. Guests can access all areas except the storage area. Usually we will be present at the entrance and exit and available for any unforeseen situation. Stroll down to the water just a few steps away at the end of the road. Venture out and explore the neighbourhood filled with quaint houses, lovely restaurants, grocery stores, and coffee shops. Preferably walk as it your in the center of the village of Alcochete. Smoking is not allowed, nor bring pets. No parties or events allowed Children up to 1 year old for safety reasons, since there are no gates or doors on the stairs between the mezzanine / bedroom and the ground floor.
