Situated just 3 minutes stroll from the harbour and 8 minutes to the beach with fantastic restaurants, pubs & shops all within walking distance. All your needs are catered for within the cottage with 2 bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, dining table seats for 4, home from home living area. The Old National School is a Grade II listed house, nestled in the beautiful hamlet of Sampford Spiney, located within Dartmoor National Park. Dating from 1585, the house sits in an idyllic spot between the Church and picturesque Sampford Manor. Originally the Church hall, it became the parish school in 1887 until 1923. It was only in the 1960’s that it became a residential dwelling. With its varied history, the house is quirky, with its lovely spacious rooms hinting at its eclectic history.

Little Brightwater is an easy 15 min. walk from the harbour along the beautiful seafront. It’s a cosy, self-contained 2-storey guest suite, like a little cottage, attached to the side of our house, with its own front door. There’s a sea glimpse from the bedroom & a great sea view from the sitting room. It’s just 100 yards from the SW Coast Path (& right opposite Looe Island) in Hannafore, which is a very peaceful & sought-after area of Looe. There’s free parking on our street, close by.
