Braeside is a spacious property. All the rooms are large and light. Plenty of space for getting together and relaxing. Most of the rooms have lovely views of the Lakeland fells. The sheltered enclosed garden at the front of the property is perfect for dining al fresco in the summer. Being located in the heart of traditional Portinscale means Braeside is an ideal location for exploring the area. Portinscale offers a choice of places to eat and drink. Derwentwater Marina is a short 2 minute walk away, the local fells are easily accessible from the front door and the cycling (both trail and road) are world class. There is a superb cafe situated 100 yards from the cottage and a local village pub. The cosy cottage is the perfect base for a fantastic holiday.
