Mikael's place was amazing. Unlike most places listed around Hydde Park in Chicago, Mikael's place had from great reviews and they were totally right. The place is very well kept, spacious, practical, with very calm surroundings. I had great sleep and having breakfast while looking at the garden was a big plus for me too. I had no issues regarding privacy or noise which is something commonly brought up in listings in this sector, especially in old buildings. Mikael was also very responsive and kind. If I ever go back to Chicago I would definitely consider staying here again.

A great place to stay for a family to explore downtown Chicago. The location is convenient, with easy access to major attractions, and restaurants. The home was clean, cozy, and well-equipped — we truly felt like we were at our own home. The host was responsive and thoughtful, which made our stay even more comfortable. Highly recommended!

We've stayed here before. It's always really clean and nice. The towels are super soft, and the pillows and linens are awesome. You're right across from the outlet mall, and a farmers market type store across the other way. There's a cute little ice cream shop on the corner. You're close to the beach and the zoo. It's just a nice place to rest and reset. I highly recommend it.

I am very happy with our accommodations. We were within walking distance of DePaul University for our college visit. The neighborhood felt safe and the apartment fit all our needs.

The apartment’s **location couldn’t be better** – right by the main road, super easy to find, and surrounded by restaurants, a bus stop, and a supermarket just steps away. Spotlessly clean. Low-key beautiful and peaceful, with very lovely lakeshore light. Should be three times more expensive than it is. For the price, this might be the best Airbnb in all of Chicago. I will stay there again.

Everything was great! The home was clean, comfortable and the landscaping was even tended to while we were out one day. We had one small snaffu but Doug was responsive and it was handled within a couple of hours! we would definitely stay here again on future trips!

It is the perfect place for our family with lots of space. We love the yard for the kids to be able to run around. It is also close enough to downtown to walk. Joe is very responsive and accommodating.

AMAZING LOCATION! I'd like to point out that I stayed in this location for a month. I'd also like to point out that I will be returning. This place was very clean, neat and newly renovated. I have a phobia of bugs and didn't encounter anything the entire stay. The neighbors were very nice. The block was peaceful and not to busy. Not to mention Nikki was the best host that I could've ever asked for. She was extremely responsive and very personable.

I stayed here with a few friends and had a wonderful time! Everything in the Airbnb was very clean and well-maintained. The hosts were very responsive and gave clear and simple check-in and check-out instructions, which I really appreciated! I think the bed I slept in had a memory foam topper as well, which was extra nice after a long day of traveling. The kitchen was also stocked with snacks, coffee and tea, and water bottles, which was a thoughtful touch. The proximity to Notre Dame’s campus was also perfect! The next time I come back to South Bend, I would check here first to see if it was available before looking anywhere else!

We absolutely loved staying at Tim's place in New Buffalo. The house is super cute, can sleep everyone comfortably, and is in such a great location. We look forward to making this an annual trip.

We had a e couples weekend for my birthday and we had everything we needed as far as amenities for adults. I would recommend this place to anyone including people with kids.

Great location within walking distance of University of Chicago and in a safe neighbourhood. Basement apartment with 2 bedrooms. Bed was comfortable & extra pillows & blankets were provided. Toilet & kitchen facilities were slightly dated but functional. Appreciated the use of washer/dryer & complimentary coffee/tea. Very hospitable host!

We enjoyed our stay. John works hard to offer the best experience to his guests. The place was super clean and welcoming. Photos are matching. Close to everything with UBER. Some restaurants are located in the block. I recommend this appartement.

This hotel efficiency was a lovely and welcoming space. It was clean and quiet and located not too far from Lake Michigan. the town is small, but there are wonderful breweries and some good restaurants. I would be happy to stay here again. Nicole was very responsive and her instructions were clear.

This was our favorite spot in Chicago thus far! The location was amazing, so close to everything! My 7 y/o is obsessed with the Sears Tower and was thrilled we could see it from our window! :) The place was clean and beds were super comfy. Would totally stay there again! Thank you, Michael!
